  1. I go into my class with the surgeon on the 13th and my surgery is June 26th. I guess what I'm nervous about is that I'm going to cheat on my per-op diet cause I will be smelling the food, plus I have a couple of parties that I have been invited to also during my pre-op diet. I'm trying right now just a test on drinking 2 meals and eat 1 during the week while I'm at work. So far I'm not doing to bad. I think another thing I'm nervous about is how I'm going to feel after the surgery and how hard it is going to eat just my liquids. I do a lot of reading on this site (which has answered allot of my questions), but I know that everyone is different. This site is the best I've seen for not only information, but for support too. I'm glad that my husband found this and told me about it.
  2. Yes on both. I counted up ,y days I have 45 days and counting:)
  3. I'm in Northwest Indiana for the Midwest question.
  4. June 26th here. I'm going yo Dr. Cahill in Northwest Indiana. I go in to have my classes and what to expect on the 13th. I wish everyone good luck!
  5. I'm at the beginning of the process. I work 2 jobs, at my first job I really haven't said much to my boss only that I have alot of Dr. appointment to go to and I will let you know when they are. At my second one I have told my boss what I'm doing (only because it is my boss and myself at the job). My boss tells me that I'm not that big (weight wise) and I don't need to go through something like this. As the time went by and I tell him what is going on he can see that I'm very serious about going through this. I have told my mother about this and I keep her up-dated on all my dr appointments too. She did ask me "Are you sure?" I told her yes. I'm not happy at looking at myself anymore. I wish you luck in this journey.
