  6. A big hello to all. First of all I must apologize for not being on the forum in months. Some of you might remember my journey began over a year ago and today is my 1 year anniversary of my surgery. To sum it up I am doing great! I have lost a total of 90 pounds and still have 20 more to go. I am disappointed that I did not reach my goal within a year but it is my fault. Take note to everyone you can never go back to eating the junk we ate before our surgery. When they say it is a lifestyle change they mean it. Old habits started to creep back in and it has been a battle. Also, don' do what I did and not get onto the forum site. I think my problems started when I stopped reading what was happening to others. But I do apologize to my friends and will stay in touch. Some of you might remember I was one of the few who had a bad experience with my surgery, but to put it honestly, I would do it over again if I had to just to be who I am today. I will try to post a picture of me but I am not computer savvy lol. Until later God Bless you and hopefully I will hear from some of my old and dear friends.

  8. Sounds just like me so keep me posted. I am at about 600 calories per day and dinner seems to be a write off. If I just pick at dinner and walk away then I am okay but if I try to eat my dinner then everything comes right back up. I don't understand why as I make sure to measure everything out.
  9. Thanks Joni. I will keep you posted. New hope I am on solid foods and that is what I can not keep down ugg. I have my protein drink with a piece of fruit for breakfast. Lunch is cold meat with salad. Dinner is meat with veggies. Oh in the afternoon I have 1/2 of a protein drink so I am not too full at dinner. That is basicly my food intake. I will try that site and see if there is any advice that they can give. Thank you so much both of you. You mean a lot to me.
  10. New hope I hear you.lol. My butt did too lol thanks so much.
  11. By the way what is retried beans? We don't have that here.
  12. Hi Joni I just ordered the unjury and calcium citrate so yes I will try it. I am so tired of being sick and hungry. And I am not even loosing weight. It just does not make sense to e. I don't just sit behind a desk all day I am running at my job all the time. Very frustrating. My doctor is away until sept so as soon as I can get in I am going to ask him about a nut even if I have today myself. I really need some positive right now lol. Big hug.
  13. Okay I tried to have a protein drink for dinner with some fruit. It did not work and I barely slept the night due to empty feeling in stomach. I can honestly say I am ready to give up.
  14. I hear you but what choice do we have. I am trying it but my brain is saying "no dinner?"

  16. Katie 713 You are right I would be lost honestly without all the care I have received from you guys. It's like having an extended family and we have to lean on one another. Advice always helps along with different ways to try. Big hug
  17. New hope that is exactly the same for me. I think I will go to my protein drink at dinner instead of food perhaps with a little fruit. Yes it has been a horrible eight weeks but hope it will get better. How long has it been for you? Do you work too?
  18. Thanks chuckles how are you doing? Would love to hear your story. Have a great day. I am off to work now. Late again lol
  19. Joni and new hope I agree. I would be happy with 2-3 lobs per week and to eat healthy. I noticed a big change after going through menopause. What metabolism do we still have that lol
  20. Hi new hope I am finally healed but now have new scars lol. I am glad that is over. Eight weeks. Still having difficulty keeping food down especially by dinner time. I am at a stall. I don't have a nut up here so I am relying on my dear friends on the site to guide me. I am up and down. My emotions seem to be all over the board. Especially with not loosing. I keep looking at tomorrow though with hopes that it will be better. How are you doing?
  21. Hi new_hhope How are you doing. As I posted I am finally healed ya whoo.
  22. Thank you friends. Now to put it behind me, pick myself up mentally and move forward.
