WOW! I hope I have these kinds of results. When did you start working out, I do not have the energy yet to really hit the gym hard. I can walk a couple miles a day and thats it.

WOW! You look awesome. I hope I can have these results. What is your workout routine?

You look fantastic! Congrats!!! What is your workout plan like?

Wow you truly look amazing can you share your experience with us

To everyone---- THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH FOR ALL THE WONDERFUL COMMENTS!!!! IM REALLY WORKIN HARD WITH THE HELP OF MY SLEEVE!!!!!

To answer your questions ill give a low down.... I literally have been working out since one week post op. As soon as I could move ... I DID... I didn't wait.. I listened to my body tho.. if it hurt i stopped if it didn't i pushed just a little harder..

At about 4 weeks out is when I really started being active. I was at the gym at least 4 days a week, doing zumba, kick boxing, weights, and running. I will break down my actual schedule at the end.. but honestly I get in as much Fluid as i can to keep my skin as elastic as it can be, also to help flush out toxins.. and i take epsom salt baths to help but back in the minerals that i am missing. also it helps with muscle recovery... I RECOMMEND EVERY ONE TAKE AN EPSOM SALT BATH AT LEAST 2 TIMES A WEEK!!!!!

My work out schedule

Monday- I have a trainer.. we do ONLY resistance training.. helps tone muscle NOT build muscle!

Tuesday- Boot camp, weights and resistance training... keeping the heart rate up.

Wednesday- I run 6 miles

Thursday - Boot camp, weights and resistance training

Friday- run 3 miles, and hit the gym for weight training on lower body

Saturday- run 3 miles and hit the gym for weight training on upper body

Sunday- I rest!!!!!! (REST IS VERY IMPORTANT)

*****here is the thing tho.... if i don't get to the gym one day or dont run.. I DON'T FRET!!!! i just pick up where i left off the next day!*****

I highly recommend one of those apps to get you motivated.. i personally use NOOM.. and JEFIT.. so i can track my food, weightloss, and workouts. It has helped me stay on track.. and im not perfect, cuz i will randomly eat food i know i shouldn't or drink when i know i shouldn't, but i honestly think that if i dont let myself enjoy some part of REAL life.. im gonna go stir crazy!

I hope this helps some of you get motivated! I know you all can do it too.. just gotta be willing to push thru the pain... My desire for a better me OUT WEIGHS my desire to want to eat!

You really looked good before and now just a smaller good looking u! It does not look like you've lost that much weight.. That's crazy thr pic one was 61+ more than thr last pic! I can't even imagine 61# gone? I'm two weeks out and only -18! You must feel so different in many ways? Looks like u are enjoying the new you. I can't see -26 more as u look so small now but I hope you reach your goal just the same.

You better werk girllllllll!!!!!! You look amazing. I hope I have those kind of results in 4 months. I'm still in the pre-op diet stage so I hope to be somewhere around 230-235 on surgery day. My stats are pretty close to yours in terms of where you started (I'm a little taller than you though) and I can only hope I see the same results!

Oh yeah, something I wanted to rant about, a billing dispute that cropped up 3 months ago.
Surgery was in August of 2023. A bill shows up for over $7,000 in January. WTF? I asks myself. I know that I jumped through all of the insurance hoops and verified this and triple checked that, as did the surgeon's office. All was set, and I paid all of the known costs before surgery.
A looong story short, is that an assistant surgeon that was in the process of accepting money from my insurance company touched me while I was under anesthesia. That is what the bill was for. But hey, guess what? Some federal legislation was enacted last year to help patients out when they cannot consent to being touched by someone out of their insurance network. These types of bills fall under something called, "surprise billing," and you don't have to put up with it.
      https://www.cms.gov/nosurprises
I had to make a lot of phone calls to both the surgeon's office and the insurance company and explain my rights and what the maximum out of pocket costs were that I could be liable for. Also had to remind them that it isn't my place to be taking care of all of this and that I was going to escalate things if they could not play nice with one another.
Quick ending is that I don't have to pay that $7,000+. Advocate, advocate, advocate for yourself no matter how long it takes and learn more about this law if you are ever hit with a surprise bill.

Some days I feel like an infiltrator... I'm participating in society as a "thin" person. They have no idea that I haven't always been one of them! 🤣

Thank you everyone for your well wishes! I totally forgot I wrote an update here... I'm one week post op today. I gained 15 lbs in water weight overnight because they had to give me tons of fluids to bring my BP up after surgery! I stayed one night in the hospital. Everything has been fine except I seem to have picked up a bug while I was there and I've been running a low grade fever, coughing, and a sore throat. So I've been hydrating well and sleeping a ton. So far the Covid tests are negative.
I haven't been able to advance my diet past purees. Everything I eat other than tofu makes me choke and feels like trying to swallow rocks. They warned me it would get worse before it gets better, so lets hope this is all normal. I have my follow up on Monday so we'll see. Living on shakes and soup again is not fun. I had enough of them the first time!! LOL

Still purging all of the larger clothing. This morning, a shirt that I ADORED wearing ended up on top. Hard to let it go, but it was also hard to let go of those habits that also no longer serve my highest good. Onward and upward!
