Next Week Sleevers ? Or Anyone Whom Are Upcoming April Sleevers?

I am back full force. I am able to have my surgery next week!!! YAYAY!! The class that is due before surgery, well they my doctor is allowing me to take it one week after my surgery. I was so upset when they told me it was a possiblity that I woul have to reschedule. I prayed about it over this past weekend and made up my mind that if it was meant then it will be. Anyway, how are you all that are being sleeved next week? How are you feeling? Is reality sinking in? Any doubts before next week? How are your pre op diets, has any of you slipped up? ARE U READY FOR THIS NEW CHANGE THAT IS ABOUT TO TAKE PLACE??? Please weigh in and share your thoughts and emotions...

Stirling - we are here for you. the last thing you need before surgery is negativity and pressure. They should respect what you have decided to do. You have made the right decision for yourself, and you can get the support you deserve and need right here. Good luck kiddo! Be strong.

I leave for the hospital at 9. I'm east coast. Will check later.

They gave me a patch to put behind my ear. It is supposed to keep me from throwing up. It is making me nauseous.

Awake and a little nervous. Today is the day! Good luck everyone! Prayers are with us today!!

I am 5 days post op and had some sugar free hot chocolate in the hosptial that was very good. Some warm water with a spoon of sugar free jello powder is also a good warm drink for the tummy. Of course decaf tea and coffee is allowed. While in the hospital I had Optisource carmel ready mixed protein and it was good. Now that I'm home I do the Nectar chocolate truffle with cold water and drink my ounce the first part of the hour and it goes down well. For lunch I'm going to have some unijury chicken protein drink. Hope all is gong well for you.

Yeah I have been trying a ton of soups, and liquids. I think that its not the cold so much as its the dairy in the soups, grits and etc. So, I think i'm gonna steer clear of dairy for a while.

Thanks to everyone for the good suggestions! Pre-op tomorrow and sleeve on Thurs!!!!

Yay, post- sleeve now! I have been asleep most of the day. The gas pains are and thirst are terrible. Yikes. I have been out walking a couple of times. Its crazy, can't believe it's done. Gonna rest. Hope all are well. Stacie
