So just checking in with all of you. I was sleeved November 7, 2011 and I am down 35 lbs. Very happy with my results so far. I am into the 7th week so I am eating chicken, beef, mashed potatoes, cooked veggies, as well as the usual quick stuff like yogurt, cottage cheese, Protein Shakes cheese etc. Everything goes down good and the only time I have any trouble is of course when I eat too fast and do not chew, chew, chew. I am finding that I can drink Water a lot easier and don't have to sip. My clothes are falling off and I am 4 dress sizes down..Whoo Hoo...This surgery was the best thing I have ever done for myself..

Sounds like you all are doing awesome!! I am now a little over a month out & down 42 lbs since a week before surgery. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT. I feel incredible. All my clothes are getting way too big & I am roller skating and/or going to the gym at LEAST 5 times a week. I also had a few bites of chocolate cake yesterday & it went down fine. I feel perfect!

I was sleeved November 28th. Including a little postop loss, I've lost just over 50 lbs. Everything was going great until I developed terrible GERD (laryngoesophageal reflux) 6 weeks postop. I lose my voice all the time and have a thick feeling in my throat. I'm on Protonix twice a day to see if this will help but so far no change. Anyone else having any problems?

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
