Christmas Challenge!!!

Recommended Posts

Okay, it's time I get realistic. My weight loss has slowed down. Last challenge I only lost about 6 lbs in 2 months.. hit a 5 week stall though. Anyway, needless to say my goal for this next one is a little more... accurate. I'm getting smaller so weight loss is slower...right?

SW- 188 CW 188 GW 178 Lbs to goal - 10.

I can do it. :)

And then I'll only be 6 lbs to 100 lbs lost! WOOOO!

I"m ready for the challenge! I was 1 lb shy of reaching my goal of 230 for the Halloween Challenge, but I am so happy how far I've come.

Screen Name - Phatgurl80

Starting Weight - 230

Goal Weight - 215

lbs to Goal - 16

If I lose 16 lbs, I'll be the same weight I was when I was almost 10 years ago. That would make me so happy :) Then, i'll finally be able to visualize that ultimate goal I have of 175.

Good luck everyone!

The Halloween challenge was my first ever and it was fun to follow peoples' progress and it helped me to stay motivated with a mini-goal. I beat my Halloween goal by 2 pounds. So I'm very happy. I've set my Christmas goal with a 2 lbs a week weight loss in mind. I think that's reasonable and doable.

It's so exciting to think that I won't mind my picture being taken this holiday season!!!

Ok, I missed my Halloween goal of 185 lbs (and 50% of my excess weight) by 2 lbs. Time to step it up for the Christmas Challenge! I hope to weigh 174 lbs and be OVERWEIGHT instead of Obese! I haven't been "just overweight" since I was 7 or 8! I think that 13 lbs is doable, and I probably might even pass this goal before Christmas :smile1:

I missed the Halloween goal by a couple of lbs. My weight loss has been slow for the past 3 months -- I lost 6.5 lbs. this past month (which was my best month since July) and that was with some really hard working out (I only missed working out on 4 days out of 31). I am setting what for me is a realistic but challenging goal, which is to lose slightly over 10 lbs before Christmas. If I hit this goal, I will start 2012 off being less than 10 lbs. to my ultimate goal weight, which will be SO COOL!

I have to say these challenges really to help me stay motivated with my weight loss! Even though I have always fallen short of my challenge goals, I've always come close and it's very satisfying to see my progress over time.

Excited to see others with this as a "birthday" challenge too - day after is my bday!

I haven't hit a "stall" yet and I know it's coming now that my body is finally on the upswing so I am trying to be realistic on the goal.

Ok, I'm in too. I didn't do the Hallowe'en one 'cos previously I kep falling way short and got really cheesed off...

Now, I have come to terms with my slow weight loss ... so, I'll shoot for my surgeon's goal for the ultimate christmas pressie - that short of Robbie Williams in his tiger pants, of course!

SW - 164

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
