  6. Update - I have been bouncing between 175 - 178. SW 178 CW 174,8 GW 170
  7. Let's try this again. I completely bombed the 4th Challange. Same goal. I WILL NOT give up. SW...178 CW...178 GW...170
  8. Chris - What ever you do, DON'T GIVE UP! Stayed engaged with this forum or a buddy. Go back to the basics! Count every carb - even veggies, coffee creamer, everything you put in your mouth. Try to keep it less than 30g a day. Also, make sure you are drinking at least 32 oz of plain Water everyday plus another 32 oz of crystal light or non-calorie flavored water. Make sure you are getting all of your Protein in every day, preferably lower calorie options. If you have already been doing this (with no cheating) you may have to shock your body. Eat a higher carb diet for a couple of days, then back to the basics. You can do this!!
  9. I have a friend that was sleeved two weeks after me, we called each other SB and SB2. Our surgeon told us we needed to get that SB attitude to be successful.

  20. I am sure many of you that are further along on our journey have had a friend or family member call you "skinny" as a sweet compliment to your weight loss. It has happened to me a couple of times over the past year. Well, I knew I was far from it still but I just smiled and said "Thank you". Well, yesterday morning on the way to church, I was riding in the back seat with my 4 yr old (not normal) and commented how much room there was back there now. My son, as with most kids at this age, is brutally honest. He stated that I fit so well because I was SKINNY. Skinny? Me? Really? Wow, it is so awesome that my son sees me like that way. I am not the fat mom any more. Yay!!
  21. Yes, been there and just recently broke through an almost three month stall. I refuse to give up. I have less then 12 lbs to my goal weight. It may take 6 more months, but I can't give up. We WILL do this.
  22. Didn't make but I am still going to set a stretch goal for the next challange. Only 12 lbs to final goal.
  23. Meggie, You look terrific. I was out of town last week on our anniversary. I am still 11.6 lbs from my final goal but I am still thrilled with the changes the past year has brought. Best decision ever!!
  24. Whoo-Hooo! The scale moved this week... SW 183.2 CW 176.6 GW 173.2
  25. Down a little more this week. Slow but still down and I had an awesome NSV this week. I was doing some much needed clothes shopping for an upcoming business trip and found a shirt I loved but no large. So, on a total whim, I tried on the medium... IT FIT!! SW - 183.2 CW - 181.2 GW - 173.2
  26. scale is moving again. Slow, but moving. Yay!! SW 183.2 CW 181.6 GW 173.2 Ramped up the cardio last week. We can do this. My mini goal inside of this is to get to 175 by 05/09 which will be one year from Surgery.
  27. Missed Easter goal by 3.2lbs. Process is so slow right now but I really need to up my exercise too. Let's do this!! SW 183.2 CW 183.2 GW 173.2
  28. Voted. Good luck. I hope you win. You are an inspiration to us all.
