OMG I want a beer!

Recommended Posts

So I have some new castle brown ale that has been in the fridge since April Man I want one. I love a good dark beer. I've had zero carbonation. So not gonna try it. Might have to have a margarita though ;-)

So do I, I would kill to be able to drink a Warsteiner Dunkel right now, I had some left and my wife used it for fish beer batter a couple months ago, brought a tear to my eye wasting a good beer for what I would use a old skanky miller light for. I have started making some different cocktails, I will be making a Old Fashioned tonight.

I started drinking beer at 11 weeks out. No problems. My surgeon said it is fine as long as I do not get too bloated and I have had no problem with this. I drink Bud Select to cut the carbs and cals. Or Scotch on the Rocks.

Well, I am home, I wouldn't even ride a bike ;-) I have had a drink here or there and know better than to drive anything. So at home only. That way neither my vehicles nor my clothes matter ;-)

Bless ya'lls hearts. . . but you know what, I tried a beer and had 1 swallow and thought i was going to die. the carbonation in those are soooo bad. . . i started sliming and feeling really bad. . . but that was my experience and I'm 2 years out. . . i'll stick to my rum and defizzed coke and lemon. . . if your going to try it, try it very very very slowly. . . good luck!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
