Unfortunately I lost a lot from the boobs as well. Pre surgery I was a 38G Now 36 DDD. :( And I have room in those bras So now maybe I'm a 36DD. I'm am looking into getting my boobs overhauled in the spring. Along with getting rid of the bat wings. :)

I surely had hoped that mine would stay. I had nice ones!! 42D and now I am a 34-36 C, still not too bad, but naked, they look HORRIBLE!!

Well...the good is you can wear all the cutesy bras and matching panties. The bad? The cups are mostly filled with extra skin, not boob. From a 44 E-F to a 36 D

I lost mostly in the band, 44D to 36D. Mine don't look too bad, at least they are still pointing forward, but gravity has taken its toll. I really think that not having children spared them a bit. My sister, the pancake boob girl, has her 34A's pointed at her toes somehow, but she has four kids.

LOL! I KNEW THERE WAS A GREAT STORY OUT THERE! YOU ARE MY NEW BEST CYBER VSG FRIEND....LOL!

Also, my doc said its important to keep a good support bra during this process! I'm glad he said that because I just couldn't wait to get out of my bra but now you can't pay me to take them off! I need all the help I can get!

Ladies there is Hope and her name is Foxbins : ) I needed this! Thank you so much.

Mine are disappearing at a fairly equal rate to the band size. I was 40DD and now am a 34 DD or 34 DDD depending on the bra. The problem is that it is all skin and they don't push up and together like they used to. The skin wants to pour over the edge of the bra rather than fill up the bra. I am going to wait a year and see if there is any tightening - I know my boobs were a wreck after I had my daughter and managed to shape up a little a year afterwards. If I hate them in a year, I'll consider plastics. To be honest, my stomach is bothering me a lot more (stretch marks and sagging skin - sexy!!).

Get a new bra every 8 weeks or so if you notice it isn't fitting right. I have been determined to keep the girls supported through this process to minimize the damage. Plus, you will look much better in clothes with a properly fiting bra.

Wow, sorry to hear that. I'm only 3weeks out but they are still very full just shrinking. I do feel better because its less stress on my back and neck. I just don't want to lose all of them! But, they still look good in or out of the bra now. I think it may also be where we start of and how much we lose. I'm looking at losing 70-80lbs. I walk every day and I work out 4days a week and I'm keeping a postive outlook!

Actually, after reading so many sad stories, I started to feel a little depressed about this boob thing. One day my husband said why would anyone who loves being happy watch and read about unhappy daily? Made sense : ) so I'm hopeful...lol

I can tell you that my boobs hung in there for a good long time. They stayed a full D until my last 20 Lbs lost. Then they literally shrunk to lil bitties and lost the fullness bad. I could've went down to a B cup but since I was planning my BA I chose not to waste any mney on new bras.

I just got them refilled 2 weeks ago and they look fantastic now. ;) In fact, I don't think they've ever looked so good, and I used to have some great boobies!!!

Breast Augmention. No reconstruction was necessary though, so just "refilled".

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

Iʻm roughly 6 weeks post-op this morning and have begun to feel like a normal human, with a normal human body again. I started introducing solid foods and pill forms of medications/supplements a couple of weeks ago and it's really amazing to eat meals with my family again, despite the fact that my portions are so much smaller than theirs.
I live on the island of Oʻahu and spend a lot of time in the water- for exercise, for play,  and for spiritual & mental health. The day I had my month out appointment with my surgeon, I packed all my gear in my truck, anticipating his permission to get back in the ocean. The minute I walked out of that hospital I drove straight to the shore and got in that water. Hallelujah! My appointment was at 10 am. I didn't get home until after 5 pm.
I'm down 31 pounds since the day of surgery and 47 since my pre-op diet began, with that typical week long stall occurring at three weeks. I'm really starting to see some changes lately- some of my clothing is too big, some fits again. The most drastic changes I notice however are in my face. I've also noticed my endurance and flexibility increasing. I was really starting to be held up physically, and I'm so grateful that I'm seeing that turn around in such short order.
My general disposition lately is hopeful and motivated. The only thing that bugs me on a daily basis still is the way those supplements make my house smell. So stink! But I just bought a smell proof bag online that other people use to put their pot in. My house doesn't stink anymore.

Oh yeah, something I wanted to rant about, a billing dispute that cropped up 3 months ago.
Surgery was in August of 2023. A bill shows up for over $7,000 in January. WTF? I asks myself. I know that I jumped through all of the insurance hoops and verified this and triple checked that, as did the surgeon's office. All was set, and I paid all of the known costs before surgery.
A looong story short, is that an assistant surgeon that was in the process of accepting money from my insurance company touched me while I was under anesthesia. That is what the bill was for. But hey, guess what? Some federal legislation was enacted last year to help patients out when they cannot consent to being touched by someone out of their insurance network. These types of bills fall under something called, "surprise billing," and you don't have to put up with it.
      https://www.cms.gov/nosurprises
I had to make a lot of phone calls to both the surgeon's office and the insurance company and explain my rights and what the maximum out of pocket costs were that I could be liable for. Also had to remind them that it isn't my place to be taking care of all of this and that I was going to escalate things if they could not play nice with one another.
Quick ending is that I don't have to pay that $7,000+. Advocate, advocate, advocate for yourself no matter how long it takes and learn more about this law if you are ever hit with a surprise bill.
