Dr. Mark Pleatman is a bariatric and weight loss surgeon located in and affiliated with Crittenton. Dr. Pleatman has 16 years of experience performing Lap-Band and other weight loss surgery. Currently 46 of our members have Dr. Pleatman listed as their Lap Band Surgeon.

I specialize in minimally invasive general and bariatric surgery. The overwhelming majority of my caseload is laparoscopic vertical sleeve gastrectomy, as well as conversion from gastric banding to sleeve gastrectomy. I stopped putting in bands several years ago due to increasing reports of poor outcome both in the USA and abroad.
