Thank you guys for all your support! The nerves are kicking in a little but I'm sure everything will be fine :) Will be checking into the hospital at 5am PST. Will be in the OR by 7:30am. I will post as soon as I can to let you guys know that i'm on the other side :) My daughter is getting sleeved right after me and i think I'm more worried about her than myself. Thanks again everyone!!

I can't wait! Wednesday is the big day for me! I'm so tired of broth right now, so I'm excited that A) I get to have creamed Soups, SF pudding, and cream of wheat post-op, and that B) my stomach will be so tiny I probably won't care that I can't have even more than that to eat! 2 week liquid pre-op diet sucks donkey balls!

I totally don't have nerves yet. I just want it DONE so I can start moving on!

Hooray for all of you Monday and Tuesday Sleevers. Can't wait to hear how you come through! GOOD LUCK!!!!

Whoo hoo, today is the big day. Well, sort of today, haven't gone to sleep yet. In less than 7 hours I'll be on the operating table! So excited! I'll try to post here from my phone tomorrow night, if I'm up to it. If not, I'll probably be on Thursday when I get home.

Good luck to all my other August 24-er's!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
