100 lbs and 10.5 inches- photos

Recommended Posts

]!00 pounds down since starting the pre op liquid diet on Febuary 23rd of 2011, sleeved on March 1st 2011, 10,5 inches off my waist.... Still have at least 50 more to lose, but so far so good! There have been ups and downs during the past 4 months, a couple small food accidents, but I have been 100% on the work outs! I started CrossFit a couple weeks ago, all I can say is Holy Frigging CrossFit Batman! Crossfit is expensive, but oh so worth it! I leave there shaking each and every time I go, its insane!

Now for the bad part, I have finally hit that stall everyone talks about, and Its not making me very happy at all. My initial thought was to work out more, work out harder. I Cant really lower my calories, I'm only taking in between 600 and 1000 a day, so what else is there to do besides work out more, and harder. Well my CrossFit instructor told me tonight that I need to rest on my days off from cross fit, not go workout in the gym, He said sometimes more is less, and my body may be going through a shock of some kind. Long story short the Crossfit coach knows his stuff, he is always reading healthy eating books, and going to training seminars, I have no reason to not believe him, but it makes no sense to me. He did say If I Felt like I HAD to do something on off days to ride the Schwinn air-dyne exercise bike, but nothing else. Anyone who has been through this stall please chime in and let me know how you got past it?

You look great, way to go!! I found in my early stalls, that usually I needed to eat a little more, not less and that would usually break the stall.

Incredible difference, congratulations to you! Agree with Kathy, you may need to add a few calories, I'm still pre-op but from what I have read that seems to work for a lot of people.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

I may have to have gall bladder surgery during my weight loss surgery. Not thrilled about it either but do not want 2 recovery times. Just want it over with.

Thanks for your post. I may need to rethink my decision... :(
