So What's For Thanksgiving Dinner Bandsters?

I really don't have a clue this year. Probably gonna eat with some friends or maybe just go out and eat. But what are you having. Are you making dessert and if so what? This was not made to make you hungry however it might so be careful when posting lol

I want to go to tmf's house!

This is the first time in forever that hub & I will be alone for Thanksgiving. Hub doesn't like turkey , so I think I'm making him a slab of ham and getting me a turkey loaf(sounds appealing huh?),mash taters, stuffing, gravy & a pineapple bake.

TMF that is too much food lol. But I love prime rib. It is one of the only meats I eat ever. I cant eat it very well. The rest is history. I just bought a new wave oven so tomorrow Im gonna cook a whole chicken in it. I want to see if it really is juicy as they say. I don't eat meat anymore but sometimes I do miss it.

We're taking my in laws to Hometown Buffet. I'm gunna try and use my lapband card to get the kids price! Went there last year (waited for over an hour). Bummer there won't be any leftovers tho. I eat a couple bites of everything - including pumpkin pie. Anything with the word "pumpkin" in it and I love it!

Marci

I'm making a turkey, mashed potatoes, homemade gravy, green bean casserole, corn, homemade bread, cranberry sauce, sweet potatoes and apple pie.

turkey breast, green beans (not the classic), mashed tators w/cream cheese, stuffing, gravy, sliced tomatoes, cranberry, pumpkin pie

CG the cream cheese is for protein right? lol

spending time with my family really stresses me out (*ugh*); so, I am thinking my band will be too tight due to stress and I will be drinking instead ~ HA

I have a new wave and though I never made a whole chix, frozen chix thighs come out juicy in 15mins. It's great when you fail to take something out of freezer.

For Dinner, turkey (3 oz), 3 tablespoons mashed potatoes w/gravy, green beans, NO bread, NO pie. and Ice water for later. That's my treat on turkey Day. Breakfast/lunch protein shakes, SF popsicle.

This is brilliant! I will have 2-3 ounces of turkey, a couple table spoons of mashed potatoes and than a couple bites of pumpkin pie for dessert. The rest of the day will be very light and lots of water!
