  1. I will try ti attend as well!
  2. I hated them. Sign me up for spaghetti squash anytime!
  3. I have flown 10+ hour flights and never had a problem My concern would be how soon aftefr the fill would you be flying. I would suggest that there be enough time to ensure you are not over filled before you leave home. That seems just common sense. If you are safely back on solid food before the trips, I would not expefct any problems.
  4. Call your doctor... nausea medication will help.
  5. Atkins is a diet. It is a healthy diet, but it is still a diet. With proper adjustments you should lose wight with just the band. Do I avoid bad carbs... you bet I do, and sugar. The rest is just eating well balanfced healthy meals.
  6. Keep the faith and you will succeed!
  7. Very good post Carole. Accurate and straightforward. Now one with a band should feel like a failure if they need a fill to help them along. I know I did.
  8. I would expect your body to level off at some point. If you do not continue your life the saem way you did to lose, you will gain, inches or pounds. Your doctor is the only one who can tell you if a fill will help.
  9. The last 10-20 are the toughest. You will need to up your game and your exercise.
  10. Congrats... your success at the Christmas party is HUGE! You can do this!
  11. Believe you can do it and the do what you obviously know how to do. Exercise, eat right, protein first!..Find something to motivate yourself.
  12. Best wishes for a successful appointment!
  13. Over time you may find that comparing your progress to others is not productive. We all lose at our own pace. Now if you are bragging... 24 poiunds is super!
  14. It is very likely that your body is telling you that you are eating too fast, especially when you have to ask! :-)
  15. It is not unusual to be sore immediately after a fill. Hang in there and give the area time to heal again.
  16. A holiday to remember and friendships to cherish!
  17. Thanks for being Steve's voice!
  18. Keep at it. You will be truly amazed by what you can do!
  19. Wishing you a speedy recovery. I hope that they can fix what set you off quickly, and get you back to normal!
  20. Happy to answer any questions you might have.
  21. Buy yourself something special. I know some banders have bought themselves a charm bracelet... pandora type, and buy a new charm to Celebrate. Anything that means something to you will work... except food! LOL!
  22. Don't wish trouble on yourself. I am sure everything will go well! I hope the fill gives you boost you need to continue to lose! Congrats on the baby.
