Had my surgery on the 31st. Just made October! So far so good. Still gassy and no mo BM, but very little pain. I am encouraged.

What is normal here? No pain meds for the last 2 days. I am getting in my protein and liquids.

Gingy... how are you now? I have surgery scheduled with Dr. Portenier on October 31 and will have to band plus plication. Would love to hear more about your progress.

I am a 62 year old female on the low side of BMI, about 36 to start. I am scheduled for surgery in October, date TBD. I would like to have both a mentor and buddies for the journey. I am having lap band with plication which is a newer procedure. Anyone out there that has done this?
