  11. My surgery was Oct 2012 and by Jan2013 my port had flipped completely over. Never had any pain. Had a port revision and no more problems.
  12. Love shopping for regular clothes, not 1x,2x3x. Love being able to walk. Love not worrying the table is too close to the bench seat in a restaurant. Love the fact I no longer need any b/p medications. Love the fact, God willing, will be around to see my grandchildren grow. Love the friends I made coming here. Like Floridays said "this lust is endless". Love that girl!
  13. LOL "This lust is endless. For the first time I feel my body matches my mindset!" Can't wait to get there....

  23. I feel we are kindred spirits. I've been banded 13mths and down 103 lbs. I too reached my most important goal, double knee replacements. It's been 3mths on lt knee & 2mths on rt knee. I'm walking close to 3 miles every day, was unable to walk 60' before banding & replacements. Still a bit tender, but have to keep moving. Wishing you a speedy recovery!
  24. I knew you could do it, congrats!
  25. Hey FL, I've been wondering about you. Congratulations on your 3yr Bandiversary! You have always been an inspiration to us all. I just celebrated 1y Bandiversary on Oct 15. I have lost 102lbs and 30 lbs to go. Really happy you stopped by.
  26. Sorry for your ordeal, glad things are ok now.IMO, your surgeon must have been high.No one gets that much fluid, some get approx 4cc. Where did you have your surgery, so I can avoid that crap?
  27. Sounds about right.lol Keep your eye on the prize. You'll do great! Thoughts & prayers for peace, great success and speedy recovery.
  28. ps. I carry plastic grocery bags in my car, when I'm forced to eat and drive. I try very hard not to get into the situation of driving and eating. Not pretty, lol
  29. Being stuck can lead to a productive burp. When I'm stuck, I get PB a few times before getting relief. Its like when a baby spits up, can't control it, it comes up whether you want it to or not. If you get stuck in a restaurant, be prepared to run to the restroom or have a few napkins.
  30. So sorry you went through this. I hope and pray I will be one of the lucky ones and have no problems. As of this moment, it has literally saved my life. I wish you well and hope your insurance kicks in. Thoughts & prayers for you!
  31. I agree with Missy. Only your Dr would know. Maybe yes, maybe no. good luck though!
  32. Happy Bandiversary! Can you please share some of your ups and downs. Everyone's journey is different and I think it could help us to understand what it takes to be a success. Thanks & congratulations!
  33. I think I can speak for about everyone here, we have all been there and done that.lol Tried every diet in the book, failed every diet in the book. LBS is the best thing I have ever done for myself. Let me make one thing clear though, it is not a miracle device. It does take work and it does seem like another diet at first ( until you have enough fills). You can work with this tool, or you can find away around it. Live by the LB rules and you'll do great. The best thing you can do is research and educate yourself on what the band does and does not do. Best of luck!
  34. Welcome to LBT! You will find a lot of support here and I hope no one passes judgement on you. Just be prepared that if you ask a question, everyone has an opinion and not afraid to give it, lol. I do hope you are able to find a Dr. who can give you any fills you may need, without causing unnecessary stress. Good luck!
