Not a bad night. Slept on my very comfy couch pretty much sitting up. Side sleeping was too uncomfortable. I think I'll be fine sleeping in bed tonight on my back. Got up this morning all full of energy, broom swept the floors, unloaded the dishwasher, fed and watered the dogs, wiped down the kitchen counters and did a bit of light dusting:-) Now gonna relax a bit a have my morning Protein shake.-) I have only taken one dose of children's liquid Tylenol since getting home yesterday afternoon. No gas pains, as of yet. I have heard others getting them later post-op. Minimal pain at port site. Plan on getting a shower and venturing out for a bit later. Praying that this continues ...... Hope everyone else that got banded with me yesterday is doing as well or better!!

I am 5 days out. I got out of the house for the first time today. I have been taking it easy. I have had a lot of gas pain and some discomfort from the surgery but all in all have been doing good. I am normally the type that is back to to work 2 days after a surgery, but this one I am taking my time and making sure I am following what I should be doing. Good luck!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
