  1. I am 5 days out. I got out of the house for the first time today. I have been taking it easy. I have had a lot of gas pain and some discomfort from the surgery but all in all have been doing good. I am normally the type that is back to to work 2 days after a surgery, but this one I am taking my time and making sure I am following what I should be doing. Good luck!
  2. Everything went well. I went in around 6:30am and was out by 4pm. Been taking it easy the last few days. First 2 days I was pretty sore, but today I am not to bad. Should be back to work in a few days.
  3. Well the long awaited day is this Friday. Started this process Nov 2011 and due to getting the covered by insurance, I had a TON of doc appointments and what not to go through. I have been on the Preop diet for a little over a week and I am down 12 pounds already. Also had my last cigarrette today and I am feeling pretty good. I have slipped in the last week with the diet, but nothing terrbile and I am still losing weight. Anyone else having it done this Friday?
  4. I too started my pre-op diet this week. It has been tough and some HOURS are better than others. I have slipped twice, but have still managed to drop almost 8 pounds since Monday! Keep your head up and try to stick with it as best as you can. I am sure most of us have been eating like this for several years, if not several decades. Its not an easy thing to get over, however you can do what ever you put your mind to . Stay strong!!
