Things I Won"t Miss After My Surgery!

So I thought it would be fun to start a topic on the things we will NOT miss after our surgeries!

I think we should write one or two, or three things we hate about being "big" "fluffy" etc...

I'll start...

i won't miss people call me "big guy"

i wont miss children staring at me and saying "Daddy he's fat"

i wont miss shopping at Casual Male XL and spending $65 on a shirt!!!!

How about you...what will you not miss!

Being healthy and feeling like I have a full life.

Plus size clothing

Being comfortable performing public speaking

Being able to go on Rides in amusement parks

Not having trouble buckling my seat belt on a plane

I am looking forward to crossing my legs without having to pull them over.

I am looking forward to being "comfortable".

I won't have to worry about my clothes being too tight.

Once I loss this weight, I can wish and dream for something else...

I wont miss not being able to wear 75% of the clothes in my closet. I won't miss people asking me when my baby is due.... I won't miss being hot all the time. I won't miss wishing I looked good in this or that while shopping. I won't miss my legs, feet and back hurting all the time...

I don't miss:

my upper thighs chafing

shopping in the plus section with those ugly prints and polyesters

needing a riding block to get on my horse

aching knees

taking a deep breath before leaning down to tie my shoes

I hope to see my toes one day while standing.

I won't miss having to put my stomach on the counter to get the pressure/pain off my off back.

Won't miss my knees, feet and back hurting.

Not taking pictures because I am not happy with how I look in them.

Won't miss having to wear clothes to hide my shape & rolls that aren't flattering.

But, most importantly, I won't miss having health issues due to my weight like my Dad!

These are all great!

I certifiably won't miss thinking "can that chair handle my weight!" or worse...that chair clearly could not handle my weight!

No more broken chairs.....

I wont miss...

Not being able to cross my legs!!!

I won't miss.....

-having to stand in the back of group pics

-hoping i won't have to take the stairs when visiting clients

-having my fashion sense not match up with what I actually (have to) wear

-feeling HUGE

-looking at a chair with arms and wondering if I'm going to fit

I won't miss:

Wearing black all the time and the same thing

My body killing me

Replaying the thought of not fitting on the rides at great adventure

Showering and drying off being exhausting

Never going out bc I feel nasty

Never eating in public bc ppl stare

Squeezing into the desk at school and it moving when I get out

Swollen feet

Double chin

Tight scrubs

The list goes on.....lol!!!!!

Low libido.

People saying "Looks like somebody's going to have a baby".

Low libido...

Here is another one....having to use the handicap stall in the bathroom because i'm to wide to fit in a "normal" one!

I wont miss alot! Not having nothing to wear. Wearing actually jeans and not just sweats all the time. No having to lift my roll up and over the lap bar on rides at an amusement park. People referring to me as the chubby little girl. Being able to find scrubs to fit and not having to get the pick overs because i have to shop in the "big" girls. Being able to see my feet, or even down there for that fact.

I cant wait to look in the mirror and actually like the new me!!

It won't be long till you'll be losing weight. Hang in there.
