would you do it again?
Yes, definitely. I had the surgery on Oct 5, 2012. The pain wasn't great, but, I've definitely had worse. I would easily do it again. My only regret is that I didn't do sooner...

Plateau over!
Congrats! Woo Hoo...so happy for you.

Anyone else losing weight very slowly or not at all like me?
Thanks so much for your kind words! Its true I could be gaining weight like I was pre-band; so it could definitely be worse. This darn plateau is just so frustrating! But, like everyone else, I will persevere.

Diverticulitis
I'm so sorry to hear about this. I was diagnosed with diverticulitis almost a year ago. It was the worst pain I've ever experienced. Just keep taking your meds & try and get some rest. Also, stay hydrated! Hope you feel better soon!

Chewable protein supplements?
Has anyone tried any kind of chewable protein tablet or gummie bear? I just can't stomach the shakes anymore. Despite my best intentions, its been a struggle to make sure I get the protein that I need. Any suggestions?

I eat 1100 cals a day per my nutrtionist. I'm just hard on myself so I really need to relax & keep going forward.

Thanks everyone. I tend to be my own worst critic so I sometimes forget that before the band, I would have been gaining weight. Thanks for the reminder!

Anyone else losing weight very slowly or not at all like me?
I'm not usually a complainer, but, I just don't know what I may be doing wrong. I have read other peoples testimonies & they seem to be losing weight at a faster rate than me. I know everyone loses at their own pace & believe me I've always been a slower "loser" than everyone else. I'm just so afraid of failing my band. I was starting to have some health issues as a result of my obesity; so I don't want to fall back into old habits. I have spoken with my doctor & he assures me that I am doing everything correctly. I do exercise, get my proteinn, drink water(although I could probably increase that amount) & stick to my diet. But, still, I hover around the 340's. Any suggestions?

How many cc's did you first have?
Are you in the green zone yet(if you don't mind me asking)?

Can feel the restriction....
Don't feel bad because I'm at 9cc's & I'm not at restriction either. But, at least I'm not gaining weight like I was pre-band.
