I was banded on April 18. I have only lost 12 lbs including my pre-op diet. I have stopped losing weight. I am still on liquids but must admit I am not getting my Protein in and am only getting about 600-700 calories. I am not suppose to start mushies until Wednesday and then not solids until a week after that. Any suggestions on what I can do to get over this hump?

I too was banded on the 18th. I have lost 10 pounds since surgery..i amnot getting in the Protein Shakes. I in fact gained from yesterday...I did walk yesterday and I am thinking it is all about not looking at daily numbers, but overall numbers...I gained 6 pounds overnight over surgery(due to IVS and swelling)...I also have added soups(creamy), mashed potatoes, etc. Losing any weight is a GAIN....hang in there....

Wow. I had surgery on the 20th and I'm glad to be down 4 pounds! I don't think we are supposed to worry about losing quite yet.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
