Hello I had my lap band/plication in may 9,2012. Exactly one year ago. I've lost 47 pounds couldn't be happier since that's the most I've ever lost. Wish it was more but hoping by next year I have had reached my goal. I look way better then last year that's for sure. Keep your head up and you can do it!!! If your scared it will be for a lil while but the benefits are worth it!

Thanks for the tip! What kind of prenatal vitamin did u get? It won't get stuck right? I need to try it my hair loss has made my hair thinner. Yikes! I'm so bummed.

I'm taking 7500mg biotin and keeping up with protein. I have thinning already on top of my head it's bad. Only 3 1/2 months I want it to stop. I cried today so sad. If you have thinning spots you can use toppix (powder for scalp) which helps. I have ordered a custom lace wig for top of my head since I feel that bad. Weight is coming off normal which is great but I wish I had more hair to cover the loss...

Today is my 2 month post op! Went for my check up lost a total of 32pounds! I'm sooooo happy! I'm wearing some capris today that I haven't fit into for the last two years. Going to knotts berry farm next month so I feel more confident I'll fit too! I'm having a pool party this Saturday and feel great!!!!

I'm post op two months on Monday! I had surgery on may 9th. Haven't gotten a fill yet! I had the lap band with plication done so it doesn't involve a lot of fills because I'm terrified of needles in my stomach. I've lost total of 29 pounds so I'm happy! We will see what my nurse says if I need one or not(yikes) How much cc's do u get on your first fill?

I'm like 2 months post op Monday I had my surgery with plication on may 9th. Hoping I don't get a fill but kind of nervous! I have my appt on Monday the 9th and if I have to get a fill I might go for 1 or 2cc's.
