I'm a 35 year stay at home mom. I have three kids and a great husband. I have been a year off work so I feel like I've put on 10 lbs more. Anyway I am a happy person and a great friend,mother and wife. But I've been depresses the last couple years off and on due to my weight. I've excercised and ate right but the pounds would never come down only inches. Which I was kind of happy with but every time I would weigh myself I would get discouraged so would I do EAT....
I love food but I need to love life and my family too. So I decided to do the lap and. I made an appt with my surgeon nurse on 12/28/11. And it's been awhile for me to get a surgery date. I had my nutritionist appt,physiologist,bone density and stress test in February 7.2012 and sleep study on February 10. A day after my 35th bday. So I looked into this journey as my birthday present to give myself a chance to feel good about myself and I really want to shop at stores where I know the close will fit me. I'm tired of being tired basically. My consultation with my surgeon on4/17 and my surgery day is 5/9. Which means in 3 weeks my new life will begin and for the best. I need to feel young and great. And I never,never thought I would get surgery for weight loss. Now I need to make a decision should I get the lap band or the lap band with gastric plication (which my surgeon recommends). I hope someone that reads will give me their input? Thank you!
