I want to do it once a week, but I'm too tempted to know if I've lost anything so I am doing it every couple of days now.:bored:

Hey there,

I was weighing myself every day, then went to once a week and now every couple of weeks.

The reason for this was my weight wasnt coming off quickly enough and also would change a fair bit from day to day which was not good.

I was thinking, what am i doing wrong.

I then went to my doctor and he said it is definately not about the weight, it is more how your clothes are fitting and i have gone down nearly 2 sizes but this is not showing on my weight loss.

To date i have lost about 13 kilos and i was banded on 12/02/2010.

All in all, i can tell from my clothes, so try not to worry about the scales.

Good Luck,

Stacey.

I weigh every morning, before my shower and after my visit to the loo! (every little bit counts you know! :)) I find that this way if i have a bad day I can be extra good to keep weight in check. Also weighing yourself at same time everyday gives more accurate reading. Do any of you find that you put on weight just before that time of the month? :o

I have to do every few days (tuesdays and Fridays). If I weight myself daily, I go waaaay overboard, and would probably be starving myself.

I step on the scale several times a day to see what it changing during the day and to try and see what type of errors my scale makes.

However, only my tuesday morning weigh-in in the same outfit goes into my weight log. I actually weigh six times and take the average to try and compensate for the scale measurement error.

Since this tuesday the scale says I gained 6 pounds... which has to be an error. So I just take it with a grain of salt and keep working to the next official weigh-in.

It's always nice to see a guy on the boards. They are definetly female heavy (so to speak). :wink2:

Just wanted to say congrats on your band, seeing as you are fairly newly banded.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
