Yes, they do suck. LOL. If the laser hair removal works good for you, I will probably start saving up and have it done. I would love to get pretty much my whole body done. LOL.

Same with my husband, he can go without shaving longer than me. I shave it in the morning and sometimes (if we have evening plans) I have to shave it again. It is sooo irritating. Even though it's more expensive, I have found that the intuition razor (sensitive skin refills) work the best for me. It leaves my skin less irritated. I did "Nair" for a while but with my sensitive skin, the chemicals started burning my skin.

Laurend, I can really relate to you. I have PCOS too and I have to shave my neck and chin area everyday (basically all the same places men have to shave) and it is sooo embarassing. I also have very dark hair and pale skin. I am sooo tired of the hair. And I'm not talking about just a little stubble either, if I couldn't shave, I would not be able to leave home. Please let me know how it works, because I want to have this done so bad. Good luck on Monday and I hope it's not painful.
  4. I was wondering the same thing.......
  5. I have absolutely no idea what that means. I agree with Laura, just ask her what she meant by it. I am curious now, so if you find out, let us know.
  6. I'm not sure how far you are willing to travel, but I was banded in Albany, Ga by Dr. Bagnato at Palmyra Medical Center. I have the AP small band. Dr. Bagnato and the hospital staff were amazing.
  7. I got mine from Wal-Mart. It's HealthoMeter. It's digital and you can program your height, age, gender, and weight and each week when you weigh, it tracks your progress. It can also show you your BMI and shows if you are hydrated enough. I think it cost about $40.
  8. Yay.... it worked!
  9. I am trying out my ticker so do not reply
  10. I love that show, I'm definitely addicted. Kae is kicking butt on the scales. She is the only one so far that has withdrew from every food related temptation and that inspires me. I really liked the ex-football player that got sent home. You are all right, Amy deserved to go home. It was like a slap in the face to the red team when she switched to black and then tried to give her shirt back to them. How rude
  11. My experience was completely opposite of yours. My first fill hurt soooo bad. She had to find it and had to stick it several times until she found it. I just got my 2nd fill today and didn't feel a thing. She uses lidocaine as well and gave me a little extra because of how bad it hurt last time.
  12. Congrats on your NSV...keep up the good work, you're doing great!
  13. I had my 2nd fill today and so far I am feeling some tightness (fingers crossed that it stays that way for a while) Jeannie, tomorrow is the BIG day! Good luck with your surgery. I hope you have a speedy recovery. You are in my prayers.
  14. I'm just curious, did your doctor tell you that you do not have PCOS anymore? I could be wrong, but I was under the impression, by my doctor, that I would always have PCOS. He said that losing weight would definitely help the symptoms, but not cure it completely.
  15. If I were you, I would find a second opinion if your doctor refuses to check this out for you. They should at least draw your blood and check your hormone levels.
  16. I just started tracking mine on Calorie Counter, Diet Tracking, food Journal, Nutrition Facts at The Daily Plate So far it's been going really good. It keeps me on track.
  17. I'm new too. This site has a lot of good information. Good luck
  18. I wish you well. Good luck.
  19. Welcome Kathy, Good luck and I hope you get approved.
  20. Congratulations! Good luck to you and your wife on your lap band journey.
  21. I'm not really attached yet, but Kae is an inspiration to me. Even though she is the smallest one there, she has really kicked butt on the scales. She is the only one that has withdrew from every food related temptation so far and I think that she is very dedicated. I really liked Phil too and thought he probably could have won. I am glad that Amy went home last night. She was too whiny and complained too much.
  22. I'm so sorry the lap band did not work out for you. Thank God you're alive and doing better now. You are in my prayers.
  23. Great job, Dave. Keep up the good work.
  24. Whoooooo Hoooooo...... Congratulations! Good luck with your surgery and take care.
  25. Welcome and good luck with your surgery!
