Just grow your hair out for a season. If it's on the front of your neck, do it in winter and wear turtlenecks. Or ask them if you can bleach it.

Most of it is on the underside of my chin and the very front of my neck, where a turtleneck wouldn't reach. I've asked about bleach, and I've always been told that the reason the laser works is that it picks up on dark hairs (it doesn't work as well with light ones). I think I'm just out of luck, unless I can find a 2-3 week period (my hair grows VERY quickly) where I can just stay holed up in my apartment (and then wear bandages on the way to the clinic, so that no one would see the hair - it'd still look stupid, but better than Sasquatch).

I had my legs and armpits done and it's among the best money that I ever spent. The place that I went to had an interest free 18 month credit deal with care credit too which was great.

I dunno. I'm willing to go stubbly, since I usually have lot of stubble with just a day or two's growth. I just hated the thought of having really OBVIOUS hair growth there. And I'm lucky enough (not!) to have very pale skin and extremely dark hair.

Go for it! Don't wait till you're in your 40's like I did. My mom just got her first treatment and she's 80! I never had to have stubble either. If it's not shaved completely off it will burn so if there is stubble the nurse typically shaves it right before the treatment.
