Overeating!

Recommended Posts

Okay I am not sure what I am doing. I do eat less than I did before my surgery and I am losing weight. However the Doctor said I would get a pressure that told me I was full and to quit eating. The problem is if I have Soup and crackers or crackers and cheese I don't seem to get that feeling till I ate 10 crackers. That can't be good for me. Any suggestions on what I could eat to fill me up quickly?

I agree with Panda, focus on Proteins, talk to your surgeon and see if you need a fill. Soup won't stay in your band very long of course, but I do love it!

I had the same issue my doctor said to eat foods with density as they stay in your band and keep you full.

Soup goes in and out in no time.

It really sounds like you need a fill. I know for me, I would get that full feeling way before I had that many crackers with my Soup.< /p>

You are never going to get full by eating Soup and crackers. They are what is considered a liquid and slider once you are out of the liquid stage. I can't tell but it looks like you may still be in the liquid stage. If so, just do what the doc says. I can't imagine that you will feel a lot of pressure of any kind if you are still in the liquid stage.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
