Those of you who have the Realize Band, you can go on-line to realizeband.com (get a password from your nurse 1st), you can put in your beginning, current and goal weight & any in between, along with your measurements and it will show a little drawing of your size and how you will change and have changed so far. It is really cool & really helps when you can't tell so much in a mirror. Try it! GB

I just had a NSV: A pair of denim capris, and a tee-shirt I have not worn in a year and a half fit- PERFECTLY!, took a shot in the dark trying the capri's on, and they slid right on and buttoned no problem!!!!!!

What a great thread. I am not banded yet and have not even met my surgeon but reading all of your successes makes me feel like I can do this too! I want new pants! I want my shirts to be too big and show too much cleavage! Hell, I want to wear tub tops and mini skirts and thigh high boots with big 5 inch heels. Well, maybe just some new jeans in a smaller size....thank you everyone. I will be keeping up with your successes and adding some of my own soon. De-Lean

Wow these are all great. So I will add a few.

I had to go to costco and get my glasses adjusted over the weekend as they were falling off.

I had to move the seat up about an inch in my car, guess my bumm has gotten smaller and made me farther away! LOL

I was in 24/26 pants and 3X tops before I started, I have now taken all 24/26 items out of my closet, and my 22's in pants are fitting nicely and even bought a top in a 1X and it fit!

I had to go down 1 cup and 1 band size on bras, same reason they were doing nothing cause they were too loose.

I have a favorite ring I used to wear on my middle finger, and it fits there again!

I put on a pair of shorts that I haven't been able to wear in a while and what did I pull out? A receipt from 2006! I'm back to where I was three years ago.

After being overweight my whole life with yoyo diets, I had lost 50# 11 years ago and kept a good portion of it off for more than seven years before I quickly gained all the weight back over the past three years or so. This was a very nice non-scale victory!

Wow, everyone's doing so great!!! :)

De-Lean, your post had me cracking up! :) I'm with you! LOL

Karianne, you look fab! Love the new haircut. :)

My NSV is that I am back in clothes from three years ago when I had lost 50 lbs with WW!! Also, today I put on something from a year ago (which I only got back into last month) and I've had two people tell me today that I really need to get new clothes because my jeans are so baggy. LOL Guess I'll add these to the ever-growing pile of jeans that are too big.

LOL -- I am rolling on the floor with this one!! Someone at work just asked me if I had recently had a facelift!!! :) Too funny! She said I looked so much younger and my face and skin looked so nice.

I've lost my big double chin is what it is! :cursing:

Someone else needs to post an NSV, or it's going to look like I'm real thread hog!

But, I can't resist posting one more: My bathing suit is getting loose! OMG! I've never had that happen in my life! :)

Oh, and here's an odd thing: I got into a two pairs of 16W pants this week! But... I still can't fit into any size 18 regulars I have. Huh? :D

That's awesome Ann! Congrats! Size 16 wow! :)

My NSV is that for the first time in years, I can wear size 18 pants. And I work in the medical field, and was always in size 2x womens scrub pants, well now I can wear the xl! I was happy about that!

Today I goofed and thought it was jean day. I was thrilled to get into the small size 16 jeans that I haven't worn in a couple of years. I felt so guilty I went to Kohl's to buy some new pants and imagine my delight when the size 16 Lee's were too big and I had to buy a 14! They aren't even tight but a 12 would have been uncomfortable. This really made my week!

I just hit 40lbs - FORTY POUNDS in 2 1/2 months!!! I am down to the weight I was over 9 years ago at my wedding. Last night I pulled out one of my husband's favorite lingerie that I haven't fit into since my wedding. IT FIT :D (and I didn't look like a sausage stuffed into it!) I recently purchased a few new undergarments, bras, and a bathing suit. And I went through all of my clothes, donated the now-too-large items, and found several 'fun' items that now fit - a 'free' new wardrobe on my way down! I'm SO excited - this is the BEST decision I have made for my health and welfare! Also - I can actually BREATHE when I bend over to cut my toenails or put on shoes - WOW!

I am down 35#, with 30 to go. Currently wearing sz. 16 pants which some are a little loose. I am really working on my middle section. My waist is larger than last time I wore 16's. I will NOT give in to menopause!!! :cool2:. I want to stay away from the women's sizes and wear misses.

Everyone is doing great! congrats!!!

It's been a while since we've had some NSVs, so come on, let's hear some! I know you're all doing great, so there has to be something you want to want to share. Let's have an NSV Party! :)

I'll start: I am now considered "ALL" or "MOST" -- lol. :) I can finally fit into my "One Size Fits All" or "One Size Fits Most" nightshirts and beach cover-ups!!! :w00t:

And!!! I finally did something I've been wanting to do all my life... buy an LBD!!! A little black dress!! I bought it yesterday to wear at my niece's upcoming wedding... and it was a size 14!!!!!! I haven't worn that size since....... well, I actually can't remember, it's been so long!! Probably more than 15 years ago. Now, granted, I'm still going to need some Spanx to smooth the rolls -- LOL -- but HEY! I'm so thrilled!!! :)

C'mon, let's hear from you!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
