Needto....these are not what I meant by jokesters, and the thing is, their answers are important too-----you starting the thread, will make anyone curious about the subject look, and it will answer the male side of it too.

It may say powder Room or Mens Room, but this has turned out to be more like a co ed dorm.....we wander in and out. And many of us have learned a thing or 2!!

I was banded 6 weeks ago and I've found missionary position hurts my port site a little - its not really painful more like discomfort. Does this continue or will it improve over time?

My doctor put no restrictions on sex. He said that whenever I felt up to it. I didn't want my DH laying on my stomach for a while, so we had to get creative with the positions. Just do what you feel comfortabe. Also, to bump a thread up, you just post another reply to it. It moves it to the top of the heap. Good luck!

I am 4 months post op, and it has only just gotten to where that isn't uncomfortable. I think it just has to do with the port site taking longer to competely heal. I can barely feel the port site now.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
