WHY are people voting for McCain?

Recommended Posts

FACTS NOT FICTION

THIS PROBLEM WAS STARTED IN SEPT 1999, UNDER THE CLINTON ADMINSTRATION, THOUGH I WOULD NOT SAY IT WAS THE PRESIDENTS FAULT.

Published: September 30, 1999

In a move that could help increase home ownership rates among minorities and low-income consumers, the Fannie Mae Corporation is easing the credit requirements on loans that it will purchase from banks and other lenders.

The action, which will begin as a pilot program involving 24 banks in 15 markets -- including the New York metropolitan region -- will encourage those banks to extend home mortgages to individuals whose credit is generally not good enough to qualify for conventional loans. Fannie Mae officials say they hope to make it a nationwide program by next spring.

Last night, this was validated through his actions. He looked away when shaking Obama's hand. He would not even look at him even after the moderator, Jim Leher instructed the candidates to do so...

I noticed the exact same thing. At the very end, Obama shook McCain's hand, looked him in the eye and said, "Good job." McCain wouldn't even look at him. Was it the race issue? Perhaps. Was it the fact that he thinks he's going to get his ass kicked in the election? Hopefully!

The candidate that scares me is Sarah Palin with her ultra-conservative views. Hopefully Biden will obliterate her in the debate. I almost wish they'd done the VP debate last Friday so there would've been less time for the Republicans to train her.

Mission accomplished! I got to rant and extend an olive branch to you s-n-t. Common ground is a heck of a thing that unites people.

Palin is the scariest of all! To say to a major news anchor in a major media outlet "I am sure there is a list, I'll get back to ya" or something like that is outrageous. Also, to add insult to injury the Rep. defended her.

She should have been exiled to the maritime border that her state shares with Russia so that when Putin rears his head she could see the world laughing at her. Did I go too far? Wonk Wonk...

I am voting for McCain! Obama is SCARY and it isn't because he's black. Get over the race card!

If I wanted to play the race card, I could deal the whole deck. I am just simply calling a "spade a spade" lol!

I am not saying that all Republicans feel this way. However, there are some that do. If Republicans scare that easily, then that shows they lack confidence and competence.

It's amazing to me that in everything that was said in the op the racial issue is the only thing that received a comment. What about McCain's behavior? How is it that a Rep. has not posted their disappointment with that? That behavior was shameful. It demonstrated that Bush is not the only high functioning moron in the Rep. Party.

Behavior.........its election time, Not an excuse for either but expected by both. We could go back and forth forever. I respect your choice to vote for whom you want and I wont even try to change your mind. I can sleep at night after making my choice and that is all that matters.

I do belive it was a Dem who started this mess( Clinton)

but didn't papa bush start the pissing contest that baby bush felt oblige to finish?

chachas research was presented on the today show on friday when matt lauer interviewed clinton. he actually gave a great response - utube it.

each party has it's share of those who are not fond of their parties selection...move along past this point - those on the fence are still not convinced of either - that's the issue; not us who already have a definite candidate in mind.

i loved tina fey last night playing palin in the interview w/couric asking for a lifeline / or to call a friend to answer a question....HILLARIOUS

I usually dont talk politics because it can really bring out the worst in people. I feel as long as you can live comfortably with your choice that is all that matters the rest will become history.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
