Ok, I need some uplifting! I have been craving Protein, so a week ago

i tried it...went down smoothly. so I just started week 4 post-op, and

i have spent the last week eating meat. My husband posed a good

question tonight...is this ok? am I taking words too far with if you

feel fine?

I really started this to be strict to the book. Also, when can I be

intimate with my husband again?

Any others banded the week of 8/11-8/15 where I am or am I messing this up?

Thanks!

As far as eating goes...I always think it's best to consult with your doctor and let him/her decide what is ok or not.

And for the initmacy...most docs will say 4-6 weeks or when you are comfortable to do so.

whoops i was at it after 3 days, no body told me you couldnt do IT. As far as eating meat, i guess if it is blended, then no probs, also depends what it is, if it is soft fish, or chicken that is diff than beef, lamb or pork, take care.

I was banded on 8/11 and was told that beef was off limits for 6 months. I did try it once but had to spit it out because I just knew it wasn't going to go down...

As for sex, 4 to 6 weeks! Are you kidding me!!! We waiting about 1 week, and that was more than my poor husband could take! lol

When you feel comfortable just take it easy and go for it. Its amazing how much better you feel about yourself when you can feel the difference!

Good luck.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
