Buffalo NY Delaware Park Walkers

Recommended Posts

I suggested to Val that we set up this thread so that those of us who are walking on Saturday can check here to see who is going, and then let others know that they are going. This way hopefully new people will not arrive and be alone.

We meet at Delaware Park at 8 am, there is a snack bar (formerly called the Juicery) where we all meet.

So for Saturday, August 2, 2008, I will be at the park walking.

Anyone else?

675-3222 is my home, my cell is not working well, not sure if will be fixed by tomorrow or not.

If it rains I will go to Jazzercise from 8:30 to 9:30, if you want to come there the first visit is free. That will be only if it is pouring. It is near Ridge and Abbott.

If it is just drizzling a little we still try to walk.

I will be at the park August 16. I heard from Nicki and she will be there too. I will only go around once as I have a meeting to attend. I know Linda Tatu will not be there.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
