Iv'e been wondering too...I have to admit, I figured she's GOT to be posting on another board somewhere because that girl has GOT to post. She's a mad woman (in a good way!), and there is no way she could go this long without having something to say...so she MUST be saying it somewhere else, right?

We miss you...here! Post here!!! Please spread yourself around a bit, okay?!!!

HHHHHMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM............................Lets all take a guess!!

I guess Delarla is on a tropical island with lots of half nakid sexy men drinking margaritas and riding her motercycle up the beautifu senic valcano road to watch the most amazing sunsets over the ocean.

Okay Bandit, I think I have this figured out...

Back when Daisydoodle was in town, they met for drinks in some casino bar like Delarla did when Babs was in town. So she is flirting with a young 20-something hottie, and agrees to meet him the next week. So, one night, after her hubby goes to bed at 7pm, DeLarla sneaks out of the house and meets her hottie for some harmless dancing at the casino. On her way home, she impulsively sticks a buck in one of those huge multi-million dollar jackpot machines and WINS! She goes home and wakes up hubby, who forgives her instantly for dancing with the hottie. The next day she quits her job, pays off the mortgage, hires back the pool service and landscapers, and hits the airport for a flight to CA to see Dr Billy. She pays cash for a new port and is recovering in comfort in a CA hospital. She won't tell anyone the good news until she loses at least 30 more pounds and takes her nakie biker chick after photos for the LBT Calendar Girls issue due out in 2007.

I'll bet THAT's where she is.

I'm now a petite blonde millionaire wearing halter dresses and cha-cha heels running my night club in Bora Bora, where hubby is my top male pole dancer. Oh, if it were only that romantic! Nothing even exciting to report, other than I got slammed at work and my "in" tray is several feet high. LBT is a big distraction so I try to stay away & get work done before I drown. I'm getting paid back big for all the LBT-goofing-around I've done in the past! Plus I broke my home puter 2 months ago and have gradually broght it back to life. A little birdie told me about this post, which gave me warm fuzzies. THANKS bandies! Problem is the weekends are too short. So much fun to be had that I can't keep up.

Daisydoodle & I met after a huge bike weekend, but we didn't get in ANY trouble! Penni just left me (boo hoo,) We partied last night & layed on couches today & ordered $70.00 worth of Chinese food. It was heavenly! Then I took a fat nap when she left, and then got up & ate more Chinese, and then had a major PB and decided, "Time for LBT."

How nice that you're all here, too. Thanks for the laughs & dreams!

you are good!

Paula, you are sweet but I hate to break it to you, it isn't skill or talent, it's an over-active imagination and enough time at the kitchen sink doing dishes that it just came together...scary! I thought it was cute, too!

DeLarla, sorry to hear you are being such a faithful employee and actually earning your paycheck. Bummer. It was fun to dream though!

I actually had another scenario since Bandit got it all started...I thought maybe you started stalking Penni's "little friend" on the Pogo site and got sucked in and addicted to Pogo and just didn't have time for us anymore!

Ah well, keep that job, I guess...

So glad you are well!

Well, there's more than just work. Check out my thread on the continuing Saga of Chloe. Lots of drama in my world lately, but it has come to an end and will have a happy ending.

And now I must dive back into my pile of work. I could use some goggles cause it's getting deep.

I read up on the Chloe saga...wow. You are SO excused. God Bless you for what you have meant to that sweet little girl.

So put your goggles on, get unburied and back at it here. And keep us updated on Chloe, too. What a story!!

Oh, and where's my skinny? I'm 6 weeks post-op now and haven't lost anything since the 15lbs I lost in the first 12 days. But I haven't gained...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

Iʻm roughly 6 weeks post-op this morning and have begun to feel like a normal human, with a normal human body again. I started introducing solid foods and pill forms of medications/supplements a couple of weeks ago and it's really amazing to eat meals with my family again, despite the fact that my portions are so much smaller than theirs.
I live on the island of Oʻahu and spend a lot of time in the water- for exercise, for play,  and for spiritual & mental health. The day I had my month out appointment with my surgeon, I packed all my gear in my truck, anticipating his permission to get back in the ocean. The minute I walked out of that hospital I drove straight to the shore and got in that water. Hallelujah! My appointment was at 10 am. I didn't get home until after 5 pm.
I'm down 31 pounds since the day of surgery and 47 since my pre-op diet began, with that typical week long stall occurring at three weeks. I'm really starting to see some changes lately- some of my clothing is too big, some fits again. The most drastic changes I notice however are in my face. I've also noticed my endurance and flexibility increasing. I was really starting to be held up physically, and I'm so grateful that I'm seeing that turn around in such short order.
My general disposition lately is hopeful and motivated. The only thing that bugs me on a daily basis still is the way those supplements make my house smell. So stink! But I just bought a smell proof bag online that other people use to put their pot in. My house doesn't stink anymore.
