Hey all

I finally lost a lb yesterday and wouldn't get on the scale this am, went to applebees last night with a friend, had a drink, which ok, that was the good part, had a few chips with spinach dip and a steak and mashed potatoes, ate 1/2 of it there and finished it off when I got home and it was settled in.... I hate reheating food.

I suck too, that is bad of me

I am going to an appointment then heading to the gym to get some weights in, maybe a walk later, i'm tring to be realistic with exercise, but it is beautiful here today so I'll probably walk

You could be too tight or maybe its something with what you ate. I've been suffering with heartburn too which is why I had another UNfill last wed. So Dr Hoff put me on that 5 day pouch test.. It helped alot and heartburn went away but when I ate some really soft roast it seem to come back. So I think that really solid meats like roast and chicken breast is just not going to work for me :crying:

Vicki

Yeah, i was ok with it when I ate 1/2 there, it was finishing it off that made me feel gross.

Hope the family feels better!

It is all a mind game, all of it. I am convinced of that, the last 30 came off only because I really wanted it with every ounce of me. I know the scale is not moving but I also know I'm gaining muscle and inches, so I'm not going to let the numbers get me down

thanks everyone. they just came back from the doc and he says he doesn't think it is swine flu, just a really bad cold. I cleaned up the house for her and did laundry and put Jadon down for a nap so I am home now and maybe go back later. we will see...

Yea, I thought if I was too tight the heart burn would have started right away after the fill but I will go on a bland diet and see if it calms down... the iced tea started aggravating it again so I will stop drinking that.. I cannot eat chicken breast or dryer denser meats either BigGurl, they just don't want to go down..Hope this goes away, I really don't want to go get unfilled AGAIN!!!!! but I will if I have to cause this sucks big time.....

Ice tea kills me, I just don't have a desire for it most of the time, now hot sauce, or anything hot, I can't do that, heart burn is horrible, so I really have to be in the mood to make it worth dying for a night or 2. LOL

Glad it is just a cold

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...
