Morning gals

You are all doing great, congrats on the losses.

As for burning, throat... well, that is part of a horrible bug... I hope it is for you guys, it will go away, unlike reflux stuff.

I only have issues when i eat massive amounts of hotsauce so I don't have that problem on a regular basis, I did... LOL but I also got extra wing sauce ever time I ordered for my daughter and I put it on everything. So sad... no more.... but it is a nice treat when I do.

Did you all know that hot pepper(s) help speed up your metabolism??? I add a little cyanne to everything I cook!

Have a good day everyone

oh Jenn, I couldn't think about any kind of peppers in my food right now:scared2: I am burning up as it is...........How are u doing, you don;t chime in as often as u used to....Hey, I see ur bmi is in the 20's, that is awsome!!!!!good for u.

LOL I know, I have been off them for 3 months, just started adding cyanne for a little kick that doesn't kick my butt.

I'm ok, kind of busy, was working on my bathroom, worked a little, and walk for 1 1/2 hr ever day and go to the gym and doing the mom thing.

Honestly i'm mentally exhausted! Wow, it is in the 20's I never really paid attention, I know I will be out of the obese stage in another 5lbs, that is all I've been focusing on. LOL

Oh, ok. well I have been drinking protien shakes for Breakfast, and sometimes lunch I drink the EAS chocolate one from sam's club, i am sure they have them everywhere, they are good cold, the only ones I have found that I really like. they are a little expensive, about $24 for a case, not really bad now that I think about it, cause i just bought muscle milk $3.19 a bottle and I hated it....

Also, I was wondering if anyone knows where to get soy Pasta? :w00t:

Hi all, I'm new to the site. I am pre-op. Just started south beach diet. Not easy. I was reading your posts and it seems like some people have not been happy with BGH. So far, I have not encountered that but is everyone overall happy with their care?

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...
