  1. Hi Rosebud. Sounds like you are doing good. 50lbs is a lot! It is difficult getting the type of support we need from these bariatric surgeries from our loved ones. They really do'nt understand how we feel. Now that the weather is breaking it'll be good o start walking. You should come to the support group meetings... You'll find plenty of support there too :-)
  2. Hi Bugs, it was great meeting you too. This is my 2nd week post-op (sleeve) and i'm doing pretty good. Still suffering from heartburn which seems to be common complaint the first month out. It is getting better though. How is everything going with you? You should come to the Support Group meetings on the 3rd of everymonth. I'm usually there as I find I get a lot of support there. :-)
  3. According to Jimmy Kimmel, there is a cheaper, and more affordable alternative to Weightloss Surgery: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dt0X1bYGfyk Funny!
  4. Hey Shar, how is everything going? Were you able to find a Protein replacement? Where are you at now (puree or still doing liquids)?
  5. I think i'm going to start stocking up on them now ..even if they are nasty, mix em with a little orange juice and it's all good. Orange juice makes everything taste good. :drool5:
  6. CONGRATS DEE!!:bananapowerslide: :Banane03: :Banane08: :success1: :youcandothis:

  8. Hey Rain, I did put on a few extra pounds but now i'm back "semi" on track and working it off. How is everything going?
  9. It was'nt as bad as I thought it would be. Dr. H. said everything went perfect. I did have more than one large stone (not sure how many). The only thing I had problems with was when they put the tube down my throat...Really bruised it But aaannnyyywaaayyys everything went great Hope you're having a safe and fun trip! Let us know when you get back so that we can plan to get together before me and shar's surgeries.
  10. Hey Vicki, hopefully the weather will be nice you next week. Compared to up here, it should be nice and warm.
  11. Well tomorrow is gall bladder removal day Hopefully all will go well.
  12. We can get together I guess after Vicki returns from her Ga trip.
  13. Hi China, Glad to see you are still here and doing ok.
