Cute cute pic Michelle!! You're all tan from the beach!

What the heck! I went onto mydailyplate.com, that's where I track my food intake, and it says that I need to consume 1700 daily in order to lose 2lbs per week. I'm eating way less than that each day and see no significant weight loss!! What the heck is wrong with me??

Hey girls, busy with work and school atm, but just got a call from my dad & had to share!!

He's playing the World Series of Poker in Vegas right now, Sunday was day 1, he made it through.. day 2 started today.. He's KICKIN' BOOTAY!!!!! They wrote an article about him (my mom wasn't too keen on the headline!) He said after this hand a lot of reporters ran up and were takin pics, so we're trying to find where the pics end up.

I was banded April 3rd of 2007 I have lost 76 pounds. I am so excited. The only thing is that when I first got it I was gaining weight the first six months. But once I got the omni pack that fixed that. I am in the League City area near Nasa if anyone ever meets in this area. Stacey:thumbup:

Hi Stacey, welcome!

Suzanne, I believe it to be the same thing, but Omnipaque is a thick Fluid they use in place of saline for some people believed to have small leaks in the tubing, or band. It is kind of like slime for bike tires.

All done with the funeral. I need to go get a fill. I ate quality food, meats, and some veggies---but I ate WAY too much!!!!

Drank lots of Water though!!!

Glad that is behind me, it has been a long, sad, yet full of stories and laughs kind of day.

I am off to Farmington, to see how Abbey is doing, and to take them some dinner.< /strong>

Well I finally got on the internet after being unable to get on today!! I was hoping to see an update from Tracy about her mom!

Busy busy at work also, I am the only one working this week, so between my customers and the phone WOW!

I hope Pam had a nice birthday, Suzie I thought the same thing about the pool!, Michelle you look sooo thin!!!!! TracyK is the alarm still getting you up or do you respond to Macy? I think that is what I hate the most, the alarm! Laura that is really neat about your dad, how long does that last? Is it kind of a last person standing? Hey Haydee, I cleaned my bathroom really good yesterday! I think I have some weird kind of cleaning flu!

Kat, we want pics of A. Tummy Tuck and B. fire area, and C. if you have any pics of cute firemen!!!!

Going to hit the sack in just a few minutes, really long day tomorrow, sort of dreading it.

Jane

Will do my best Jane----as you know I cannot size pics!!! LOL! I will do the TT and email them when I do, not sure I want bare pics on here----like I say I have snoopy family who follow me around here---guess they have no life of their own!

I took a few of the burned area yesterday.

As for the firemen, I was so busy I never even noticed them, until I spoke to one, and it was a girl----and a young girl at that!! Like I say this is a totally volunteer unit, and with all that gear on they all looked alike, and they had masks on, the smoke was horrendous, burning leaves and cotton made thick black smoke.

Firefighters do have an appeal......!!!! We'll just say they are HOT!! LOL!

I too was hoping to hear from TracyKS. I was really glad to see you check in Terry, was beginning to worry about you too!!!

Abbey continues to have problems and her OB is out of town, and she is not getting cooperation from his partner. I wanted her to see my Dr. but she is determined to see her own. I left dinner and took off before I said things I would be sorry for. I just feel there is a time to be stubborn and this is not it, there is a difference between loyalty and stupidity! And why does she feel the need to see this Dr.? Her mother in law loves him, and does not want her seeing another Dr. Her lame ass MIL told my insecure SIL that she has heard of many OB/GYN's discussing womens anatomies in improper places. She is so full of crap! So of course the Mama's boy he is....he too insists she only see her Dr. Oh well, as you can tell I am royally pissed over it....but what can you do, the law says they are adults----even if they don't act it! Yeah, it was a good thing I left when I did!

Well I am off to play a game or 2 to make myself sleepy!!! Talk to y'all in the morning!

My dad was a fireman, so I have trouble thinking that they are 'hot'. But all my dads fireman friends were hot....lol, so I guess they are!

Well, it is just a matter of time now that my ex-wife-in-law (franks ex) finds out about his new job and me 'retiring'. Since she has to work now I am sure the news will go over like a lead balloon. Like its any of her business anyway. UGH.....

Today dh, me and the 3 kids are going swimming. Then we are going to the chinese buffet but I am going to try to talk the kids into something else cause I always PB there so I am getting the hint. They really love it there so if we end up doing that then I will just watch them eat and have something when we get home.

Tracy-how is your mom? I am praying for her.

Terry-what in the world have you been up to and how is your mom?

Kat-sorry about your uncle. You really have had your plate full with everything going on. Don't over do it, ok?

Judy-what is on your agenda today? You are the busiest retired person I know!

Haydee-how are you pretty lady? Is your dad still recovering fast?

Laura-that is so cool about your dad. I love the WSOP. Let me know how far he goes!

Michelle-loved loved LOVED the pic! You sure are starting to look like you are in the 'boney maroney' club

Pamela-come BACK...WE MISS YOU!

Jenn-come back....WE MISS YOU TOO!

Jane-I still have my internal clock that goes off around 5 or 6 but gradually it is later every day...plus macys internal clock is still on. But, I woke up at 4:30 this morning and went back to sleep at 5:30 and macy did not wake me up again til 6:50 so that is awesome! It feels so weird not setting an alarm! But I am rapidly getting used to it.

Suzie-I bought you a card and you will robably be all healed up by the time I mail it...the thought was there. First I did not have youor address, then I realized I am out of stamps. DUH. So, if you are all healed up when you get it, you now know why its late.

Have a super duper day everyone! :smile2:

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
