  10. Yes thank you for a little more info about how bariatric can lessen anxiety. My doctor told me that there is a part of the stomach (maybe hormones) that when cut out should lessen it!

  18. I like your comparisons of how a childs meal changes from different ages and how it relates to our new tummy!
  19. Mmm I want to look into the protein pudding. I also looovee cheese as well and deal with the consequences later as I am lactose intolerant. And that eases my worries when you say everything sounds difficult but its a lot easier when going through it. I have anxiety so im a professional worry wart. I like to be prepared about everything. I also heard that RNY helps anxiety and boy I hope that it works for me! If not I’ll still be okay because after I started hitting my 5k steps a day my anxiety has gotten better! Thank you for taking the time to reply!
  20. The milk trick sounds great, and that made me feel so much better about not having to move on to the next stage if not ready. Also not to worry about not meeting my protein intake too much. Thank you for taking the time to reply! I really appreciate each and every one of you who cared to help me out!
  21. Yes and also my weight loss plan doesn’t want us to count protein shakes as protein intake. They want us to eat our protein!
  22. I will try look up ricotta recipes, never had it but im sure its great! I will also check out the app as well, thank you so much for your reply!
  23. Thank you for your reply, I wish they could start me on pureed before leaving the hospital so that I could have the weight loss team next to me if I have any problem. Kind of like the lactation consultant making sure you’re breastfeeding right before leaving the hospital.
  24. Thank you for this very detailed information of what to expect and different ideas of foods/liquids for each stage! I will keep in mind about hydration being put first!

  28. My Gastric bypass surgery is scheduled for August 18, 2025 and here in Hawaii, our liquid diet is only for the first 2 days after surgery, then we move on to pureed for the next 2 weeks. I am trying to prepare because I know the day will be here shortly so just wanted to get some ideas of how most of you managed to get a lot of protein in with such small portions.
  29. Aloha SpartanMaker, I am down for the battle just as long as there’s a light at the end of the tunnel. I have only signed up and been on this platform for 24 hours and You all have inspired me! I am blessed to have found my new BariatricPal Ohana!

  31. Hi summerseeker, I was just concerned about Nausea because I had 5 children and being nauseous for 8 months each, I was worried about being stuck that way after surgery. I seen posts about how people cant hold food down and had nausea even a year out from surgery. But thank tou so much for your reply and sharing your journey as well!
