Cramps!!!

Recommended Posts

Getting really bad cramps! I supplement with magnesium and have also developed mild heart block which worsens if I don’t supplement. I’m wondering if anyone has similar issues and how they manage them…

have ordered a magnesium cream which I hope will help.

Leg cramps are awful. So painful. I used to get them randomly at night. Keep your fluids up so make sure you’re meeting or close to your daily fluid goals. It can be easy to let it slide especially in winter. Add an electrolyte drink to get in the minerals you may be missing at the moment. Try adding a banana to your food intake too. Gentle stretching & heating pads can help.

Hope this helps.

My husband swears by a banana, lots of fluids and a glass of Tonic Water every day. It works for him. BTW the tonic water needs to have quinine in it

Oh I haven't thought about nocturnal leg cramps for ages! I used to have them *all the time* pre sleeve but almost never get them these days (and never anything like as badly). Another benefit of WLS afaic!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
