HI All, first time on here, I'm in Ireland and had my surgery on March 10th, I had a blood loss and my haemaglobin dropped but I'm so whacked out. I feel I have no energy. I do small jobs and thats it then. Anyone else feel like this. food wise I'm flying.

It took about two months before my energy level was back to what it was pre-surgery, although it gradually got better, day by day...

I still feel a lack of energy when I forget to eat and I am out and about. I always carry a Protein Bar and stop for a glass of milk if I need extra after that

Fluids to build back your volume and lots of Protein. make sure you are taking your Multivitamin with iron!

You're less than 2 weeks out from major surgery. You're eating almost nothing. Be gentle with yourself and patient with your new stomach. You're healing. You'll be fine.

Having no energy is normal. I felt like it took me a few months to regain my energy back. Protein and Iron are going to factor into that. I'm sure you will have bloodwork soon and hopefully, your doctor can recommend some changes to help with that.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
