Hi, my gastric bypass surgery was March 14, 2022, and I’m still having issues keeping things down, meds, food, Clear Liquids, even my own spit. Anyone else going through this? Any pointers? I started at 232 lbs and I’m already down to 160 lbs.

Talk with your surgeon. This could very well be a stricture, especially if you aren’t even keeping down Clear Liquids.

I agree with @Starwarsandcupcakes. I think it may be a stricture too. They are pretty easily repaired. You need to go back to your surgeon as soon as possible. Even if it isn’t a stricture, something isn’t right. You should be able to eat a wide range of solid foods by now.

A little information about strictures:

I agree with the above posters. Definitely reach out to your surgeon. Something isn't right. You're 3 1/2 months post op. You should be eating all normal foods and keeping it down. It sounds like a stricture, and while it's a fairly easy fix, it's something you should absolutely have taken care of right away. I worry that you've lost 72 pounds in 3 1/2 months because you're malnourished and your body is literally starving. Please reach out to your surgeon.

      SKINNY SZN HERE WE COME!!!!

It's Saturday!!! My fiance and I are out doing yard work and I made the mistake of not staying hydrated before going out so now my body is shaking and weak. I have my pre-op appointment Tuesday, the 2nd and I am trying my hardest to lose another 2 lbs by then.
