I’m almost two months out and I’ve noticed in the last two weeks I went from being constipated to have diarrhea every time I eat. The last few days I can barely keep anything but liquid down and any time I take a bite of anything no matter how small it feels like a brick in my stomach. I’ve even been vomiting. Any advice or anyone go through this?

I would check with your doctor. Can you keep plain liquids like Water and Gatorade down? It could be lactose intolerance but check with the pros before you get any more dehydrated.

check with your clinic in case it's something like a stricture. It may not be - but not being able to keep anything down is a symptom of that. If so, it's an easy fix.

as the above person said, it could also be some kind of food intolerance. Just call your clinic - they'll know what to do.

Sounds like a stricture. I know you’re thinking “oh I’m loosing weight!” Sorry to inform you that you are also loosing muscle, including heart muscle. Call your clinic. I’ve been told these things are easy to clear up with an endoscopy procedure. If the clinic doesn’t answer go to the emergency room. Sending my best-Meg

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
