Hysterical! I know the feeling! I was waiting until I finished losing weight to buy new panties, but down over 90 pounds, the saggy ones weren’t working. I also donated my size 18 jeans and was sooo excited to squeeze into a size 4 that ran big!!!

size 18 to a size 4...wow. Great for you!!

My weirdest non-scale victory recently was getting in the bob cat to move some dirt around and the lap bar didn't bottom out and squish my stomach when I put it down! that was an amazing feeling!

I want to keep the size label on them (haha)

I'd not only keep it, I'd frame that puppy and hang it on the wall. Congrats!

I got over the corral fence without heaving and having to stop and readjust my center of gravity... just went up and over.

A whole new world: Being able to shop clothing sales and clearance. That hasn't been part of my life in many many decades.

During this transition period, check out thrift stores, too. While you are there, drop off your gently-worn too big stuff.

Now, I have always had wider calves than average, but when I weighed almost 400, they were super, super wide. I managed to find a pair of extra wide calf boots back then that fit but I could barely zip them up. I tried them on the other day and they're HUGE on me. I'm pretty sure I could fit BOTH calves in them now!

I used to have to push the armrests of my desk chair out to fit my butt.. not anymore, and there’s room to spare!

Not sure if this exactly counts as a non-scale victory since it involves scales...!

I haven't had the joy of experiencing this yet, but I just realized that now I can get weighed on the actual scale at my primary care physician's office, rather than just tell them what my weight is because I'm too heavy for it. That is exciting but not something I can share beyond here and with my husband!

I get it!! I had the same thing happen. Went to pull out my boots for the fall. Tried them on and could fit my fist in there. I always wanted to wear a pair of boots that had room between my calf and the boot. Unfortunately the ones I have don't stay up....but it was pretty exciting!!!

Went for a tattoo consult this morning and the guy said I had a “very lovely” back. Well, that’s a first 🤷🏻‍♀️

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
