I have struggled with my weight as long as I can remember. I finally have been on more diets than I care to admit, and they would work for a little while. When I was dieting all I could lose was about 20-25 pounds and no matter how much longer I stayed on that diet that's it. It would always stop, even if I cut back more or increased my physical activity my weight loss would stop between 20-25 pounds. I finally made the decision to talk to my doctor about weight loss surgery and she was so supportive and pointed me in the right direction giving me names of doctors that some of her other patients have seen before. After that I talked to my insurance company and they told me that the surgery wouldn't be covered, then I told my parents about the possibility of me contacting the weight loss clinic and calling the bank about getting a loan. They told me my health is more important then money and they offered to pay it for me. It has been the best decision I have ever made in my life. Given the chance to go back and change anything I wouldn't. I feel better then I ever have.
