Question for everyone that has had there surgery. Do any of you have numbness in the center of your stomach. I have a line in the center of my abdomen that is about four inches long and 1 1/2 inches wide that is like numb it feels like you know when you get dental work done and they numb you and that feeling in your check that’s what it feels like. Does anyone else have this or am I strange.

I don’t have that. That is strange.

My surgery is tomorrow (7/22) and I can’t believe it’s finally time!! Prayers to everyone having surgery this week!

I got a call from my office yesterday and they scheduled my surgery for the 14th of July. So very excited. Its close!

How did it go?

I got a call from my surgeon's office today saying they have to reschedule. ☹️

Fortunately it's only a one-week postponement (to July 30), but that means I have three weeks of pre-op diet. I'm so hungry right now. I really just want to tear into a plate of carbs. I'm not even that picky, pretty much any carbs would do. ???????????

oh no! Thats tough. You got this tho :)

I had my VSG on 7/2/2020. Walk as much as you can post op. It will help with the gas pain. It was hard to get in my fluids the first 5 days but then I turned a corner and it became much easier. I'm drinking my 64 ounces of water each day without any difficulty. Try to be as optimistic as possible. The pain and discomforts you have early on are only for a short time. Each day you should feel stronger and will be one day closer to a healthier you. Best of luck.

Thanks for the advice

I was sleeved on July 16, and my recovery is going pretty well. The biggest issue is fatigue. I take 2-3 naps per day, in addition to sleeping the night through. It's easy for me to keep hydrated, and protein shakes go down easy. If I could just have a little more energy! I'm praying for all of us July sleevers, may God help us through this journey to become more healthy.

I was sleeve the same day, and I am having a hard time drinking the shakes. This morning I vomited 30m afer I drank it. Are you having any chess contractions or spams? Dont know hownto described, but it hurts.

My surgery was July 1st. I am down approx. 30lbs. It’s been different. I had an allergic reaction to my vitamins, but other than that, adjusting well. I am at the puréed stage and that has been a huge relief! I am ready for a real meal though! Hope everyone is doing well and are having success!

Congratulations!! I was sleeved on July 8th and down 24lbs. You made my day by sharing how much you lost and giving me hope:) The vitamins make me gag but I get them down. I agree this is different. I am in purée stage too . Getting a little tired is ground chicken and eggs but it is worth it! Please share any good recipes !

Congratulations! I was sleeved July 7th. I’m down 12lbs. I have bad spams when food goes down. What is exercise routine like?
