1st puree food was Carrot w a bit of parsley, 2nd carrot, parsley, sweet potatoe, 3rd carrot, parsley, sweet potatoe and diluted w Bone Broth, next time I added a bit of beef and so on. I added something new every 2 days to look out for things that might not agree w me. It has been working for me so far.

Ha ha so exciting isn't it! Did you get given some meal plan info from your team? Important to start getting your Protein in via food once you start. I tried soft scrambled egg (high protein) and I did have about 2 teaspoons of mashed potato, but only had it once just to test how eating felt.

Enjoy! Oh also if you go to the recipe board there is a section for pureed food recipes :D

I will check out the pureed recipes. Thank you. I am going to make myself some bland egg salad. I even bought a food processor for the occasion.

As funny as it seems make a game out of it - High end pureed food meals. I did everything from Lobster Pureed to chili -

One of my fastest and easiest if you like it is Egg Drop Soup. Ton of Protein and actually tastes like something

Just started my pureed diet today. My first meal was cream of wheat. Second meal was chili. So far so good. So glad to finally be able to eat something.

My first “meal”was cream of wheat then scrambled eggs. Never been happier to eat something not liquid.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
