Just wanted to share my progress!

My surgery was June 4th, 2012. My beginning weight was 276. Today (5/19/13) I am at 197. So almost 80 pounds gone. I have lost 8 pant sizes and 4 shirt sizes! Total awesomeness.

The first picture was taken 2 months before surgery. The second was taken about a month ago. I was 15 pounds heavier than I am now in the second picture, but it's the most recent that I have!

One year

The photo on the left is me one year ago today....June 2, 2012. The photo on the right is me yesterday....June 1, 2013. I have lost 85 lbs since the photo on the left. I still have about 65 lbs to go, but I am proud of how far I have come so far!

Here are my before and after pictures, it was a long journey but worth it. I started at 210lbs in October 2007, had a Tummy Tuck in February 2008 when I weighed around 180lb and have been maintaining at around 120lbs for the last 3 years. I kept meaning to come on and post some pictures so I thought better late than never! I got such an enormous amount of support from all of the forum members at the time and you certainly helped keep me focused, I still miss my wonderful canadian friend green, hope you are rocking where ever you are eh? x

This is a recent before & after picture of me. The left side was June of 2011, I was around 315lbs. In July 2012 I reached my heaviest weight: I was 25 years old and 323lbs...it was then that I realized I needed to make a change. I was banded on November 6, 2012, and currently weigh 226lbs! I have lost 97s lbs!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
