  9. I had mine in 1 surgery. Surgery was a little over and hour , and I went home the next morning . Best thing I have ever done for myself. Have lost 65 pounds since June.

  11. This is the absolute best thing I have ever done for my health . I had surgery June 23rd at 264 pounds and I now weigh 196 pounds. I have went from 2x shirts to Large , from 40-42 pants to 34's . Surgery went easy - only complication I had was I developed an incisional hernia and had it fixed January 7th. I feel normal I just cannot eat very much . I had failed with my lap band no way I will ever weigh that again.
  12. I had the sleeve after a lap band and I can tell you I have went from 264 to 197 in a little over 6 months . Surgery pain was easy compared to my lap band. I walked 2 miles the day after surgery. No way I will ever be able to put the weight back on that I had. Appetite and cravings are under control. My brother in law had bypass and has put all his weight back on - you are doing the right thing do your own research. If I can help contact me because I am a huge advocate for the sleeve. Here are my changes
  13. I still eat popcorn and drink a little Coke. But I can't and don't want to consume much of either. Satiety is there quick and the dependence on that crap is not there anymore.
  14. Ha ha that's a big joke between me and my wife because I cross my legs all the time now. At times it doesn't look very masculine. We joke about it a lot .
  15. Thanks everyone it was a hernia. I had a repair done a week from last Friday. It was a short procedure, but after 10 days I am still pretty sore. Doc said hernia was significant, and it has been way worse than my sleeve surgery. Ready to start lifting again so I can get down to about 180. I am at about 200 after starting at 264 in June.
  16. I had my done same day- great decision as it works way better than the band
  17. I had revision in June 2015 and have lost 65 pounds since then and am at goal in 10 pounds. No complications but have developed a incisional hernia I am having fixed January 7th.
  18. I had initial success with band lost about 30-35 pounds and gained it all back. Over 6 months out and have lost 65 pounds with sleeve. Very happy about my choice!
  19. I had no idea when it happened- I had a lump early and just thought it was going to go away. It doesn't hurt but if I didn't have it I would be well on my way to a pretty good 6 pack.
  20. Went in for 6 month check up and I have went from 264 to 198 since June 23rd- bad news is that I have an incisional hernia and will have to have it repaired eventually
  21. Catlynk- I have lost 66 pounds in under 6 months. December 23 would technically be 6 mos.
