Mine is Sept. 16th. My LSD is for 3 days and is 5 to 6 shakes a day, depending on which

shake variety I chose, I can also have other clear liquids and up to to large dill pickles a day.

How are you all doing on your pre-op diets? Anyone have their bag packed?

Anyone else feel really dizzy on this pre op diet? My diet is 4 shakes a day and nothing else sep water or 0 calorie drinks. Have a headache and I feel horrible. On day 3.

My diet is and soon to be was for 2 weeks. Tomorrow and Monday, 4 shakes a day (two with water, two with milk) and then my surgery is on Tuesday! I’m excited. I’m also glad to have already met my nurses and and the gentleman that will be doing my iv! All are excellent.

HI KohakuSeuda,

There’s actually a warning statement on the bottom of my pre-op diet sheet that says dizziness is common during the diet . Because the shakes are so low in sugar, it’s just enough to keep us above hypoglycemia. I’m on Day 2 of full liquids. Last week I had a meal and 2 shakes. Now, 5 shakes plus water like you.

I will say from my memory when I had my lap band, day 3 is the worst. For many it gets a little better.

Since sugar free jello is considered a clear 0 cal liquid, I’ve added those as well, just to feel the little bit of weight in my tummy. It seems to help with the hunger.

Best of luck!

God Bless you and may you have a WONDERFUL SURGERY!
