I had my vsg surgery 9/10/19. I’m down about 66lbs. I still have a way to go, but I’m happy with my decision. My pics: my 2nd day in the hospital. I got engaged at the beginning of December and decided to try on wedding dresses at the end of it. The others from earlier this month.

I am two days post op. Still sore/sleepy/healing. However my days in the hospital showed every time my blood pressure was taken it was great. My doc said take them it if it does happen to spike; but I am off high blood pressure medicine and my two reflux medicines! I hope it stays this way!

Currently post surgery. I’m on my second day at the hospital in my bed. I did my first walk around for today not too long ago. I had one yesterday as well. So I just really hurt in my upper tummy. I feel like that’s where he pulled the rest of my stomach out. But more than anything I am very very sleepy. My doctor said I was the easiest surgery of yesterday. I think it took them an hour and a half according to my boyfriend. Which is very good news to hear. I also have six Incisions. Alright, good night.

I’m tomorrow as well! I’m ready to do this!

My diet is and soon to be was for 2 weeks. Tomorrow and Monday, 4 shakes a day (two with water, two with milk) and then my surgery is on Tuesday! I’m excited. I’m also glad to have already met my nurses and and the gentleman that will be doing my iv! All are excellent.

The diet has me tired, craving, and oddly happy to most that know what I’m doing—most of them said they couldn’t do it. Others that are not in the loop are trying to figure out why I’m doing it. It’s only day four and it’s bizarre to go into any store without picking something up! You really have to focus on stuff that is not food related! Come on September 10th! I’m excited to start process.

So, I saw my surgeon on Wednesday and it is super confirmed for September 10th! Prep op diet starts Tuesday! Then at the end of that month is my bday!

New here! My projected month was October but given everything goes to plan when I see my doc next week (I must be less than when I was last there...which is gonna be slightly hard, since my weight was wrote incorrectly the last time I was there! ) Anyhow, my surgery should be Sept 10th! Wish me well next week at the doc!
