    60 lbs down!!

@Jay R I actually don’t count my calories(I know bad) I just eat when I’m hungry and until I’m full. But I workout 5 days a week so I’m assuming that helps.

    Constipation

I haven’t had a bowel movement in 5 days. No pain. What did y’all use to help? Miralax hurts my belly.
  7. What did you guys eat for your first “regular” good meal? I’m so excited but scared! Would low carb tortillas be okay?
  8. So I’m 5 weeks out and I noticed some days, even though I eat the same thing... I’ll get horrible pain in my back and burp then I end up throwing up then I’m fine. Anyone else experience this. I don’t think I’m eating too much. I measure out my food. Anyone else have that?

    Heart rate

I’ve noticed the days following surgery, my heart date has been a little higher than normal. Its normally between 70-85 but now it’s like mid to high 90s... when I’m in heat, it’s over 100, not but much. Anyone have this happen? I have no idea if the blood thinner will make it high or not.

I had eggs beaters with a little salt and pepper. It was very good. I was too scared to be adventurous lol

    * HELP HOW many days in hospital???

I stayed one night. I was up and walking and eating real well. I did have a lot of nausea the first night after surgery but that passed the next morning. The nurse actually told me I would be there 3 nights at least due to nausea and throwing up. Nope, surgeon came in that morning and said I was doing great and I could go home that afternoon. I felt 100 times better at home.

    First Month Average Loss

    Surgery on sept 9th 2019 weight was 325 lbs Today on sept 24th 2019 I was 305.
  13. So, every day, through out the day since surgery, my face has became really warm and flushed. No fever. Not dehydrated (well my urine is normal colored) and i take all of my vitamins. I just “don’t feel good” like I feel absolute blah. I don’t know if this is normal or if it’s something else. Did anyone else experience this? I had my surgery on Monday, 9/9. Yes, I know I just had major surgery but I read other posts and people seem like they are going for a 2 mile jog. I’m a worry wart.

What are you guys allowed to have on your full liquids diet? I had gastric bypass. I drained soul this morning and ate the broth and omg 🥰🥰 but I’m having a really hard time getting my 70g of protein in. Recommendations? Thanks :)

    Weird things happening

    I’m 24, hope it isn’t that lol
  18. A few things that are bothering me. 1. I have a hematoma next to one of my incisions. Surgeon and nurse said it’ll go away and probably drain through my incision, which sounds terrifying. 😱😱😱😱 2. My blood thinner shots make me feel lightheaded and they hurt sometimes. 3. I have a pulling pain when I get up and walk and it makes me lean forward. Pain level is about a 2 or 3. 4. No wheezing, or coughing but I have to take deep breaths every little bit (thinking it’s anxiety) 5. I feel really weak and dizzy and tired. 6. Apparently I look rough too, according to my boyfriend. Anyone have things like this?

    September 2019 🍂🍁

Had my surgery Monday morning. Everything went well. No pain anymore, just pulling when I lay on my sides and when I walk. I took a shower when I got home and I got a red lumpy bruise beside one of my incisions. It’s going down, not so pink and bruised. Thinking it just irritated my cut. Feeling good so far!!

  22. Anyone else get nauseous and dry heave after drinking protein shakes? I also feel this way when I first wake up in the morning. I get surgery Monday, September 9th. Anything y’all did to help or is this normal?

    Protein shakes and nausea

@CheerfulLoser I think it’s the texture. Or the fact my tummy is trying to get used to have mainly liquids all day. Not sure.

    Protein shakes and nausea

I can’t drink the shakes by themselves, I used instant decaf coffee and dilute the sweetness. It helps, as long as I use a straw and I can’t use them after surgery. Idk what to do 😭😭
  25. I cheated :( on day 9 of my pre op and I have cheated 3 days out of the 9. Let me explain. My 2 week pre op diet consists of 2 protein shakes a day, lean cuisine for dinner, tossed salad, and 100 cal snacks in between in meal. I felt lucky, because that seems easier than most. I did great the first few days, I lost 5 lbs. I cheated literally 1 day (not even like a bad cheat) and I gained 3 lbs!! One day I cheated by eating 5 meatballs and literally binged on chips, m&ms. We had a cookout, I ate... that’s all I ate that day though. I had 2 pieces of pizza and 5 chicken nuggets last night. I have 4 days left and I’m going to stick, no matter what. Than I thought, well if you can’t do this pre op diet, you can never stick to your lifestyle change after surgery... not true. I’m giving myself such a hard time. Now I’m afraid my liver will be too big and my surgeon won’t preform the surgery. Did anyone else cheat? What should I do?
